I would be much more on board with the libertarian values if it didn’t have the open borders mantra along with the one sided free trade. It’s one thing to say that the global free market will decide winners or losers, but to have free trade where major employment industries leave for very cheap labor is such a short term fix that leads to devastating problems that I just can’t get behind that party.
This is going to be the shortest quarantine.
If he’s still taking hydroxy I wonder if he’s going to say his negative result is due to it being a preventative medicine and he’s living proof. I would really hope so, but that would cause the media and the left to spasm uncontrollably at just the name. A man can dream.
Yup.
Chuck Grassley did it to stop the bullshit grandstanding for all the Democrats and Flake because they were all “muh FBI investigations”. So my understanding is no committee can meet longer than 2 hours or after 2. Not that the full Senate day has started and thus it’s a 2 hour countdown then.
Really a huge reeeeeee move here though as nothing has happened yet and he’s just filling up his depends so the Senate is going to move faster and I see Murkowski voting yes now because of the pettiness.
I agree on a spiritual level.
It does make certain things easier when a couple is recognized as being married. I had less paperwork for bringing kids in the world, my will was much easier to write with my wife on it, she can make end of life decisions easier etc.
An argument could be made that we should be more responsibly with getting everything legal in order and make the laws easier for the layman to do such a thing. That sounds more like a pipe dream though in my opinion.
I’m not sure what you mean by I receive a peace of the pie? As in I receive profits from a college? From your question, I’m assuming, and I understand I am probably wrong, that I would be forced with my money earned to be entering a “stock” for the university system. That’s not capitalist at all as I could invest my money elsewhere and have a much higher return.
Overall admission going down would absolutely drive prices down. People are always the demand. If schools aren’t shut down immediately en mass, and they have less of a pool of students to pick from, we would see competition ramp up incredibly. Some schools would compete on price, and others would choose different competitive advantages. I wouldn’t want my tax dollars going into something like this as it would put a safety net on schools to prevent quality from really taking off.
My opinion on taxpayer funded college is on 2 issues.
Would it stop at the bachelors degree, thus making that the high school degree that entry level jobs that now require a high school/GED for applicants would then be repurposed to college? My thoughts on this are, yes, but it’s going to turn into those that have no desire for higher education be left behind and cannot find jobs. I.e. the poorest sector who college as a right is supposed to be granting.
My second point is as follows. College is not what it used to be 100 years ago. Ivy League schools required students be fluent in Latin so as understanding sciences and law become much easier. Would having taxpayer funded, or college education a right, further weaken the curriculum for students, no matter the major? And finally, my thoughts, it would weaken and private college rates would turn astronomical for an education not even as strong as it used to be.
I am curious on your thoughts. Have a fantastic Sunday my dude.
They keep saying the original didn't have God in it. If they would go back further, they would see that God was in the pledge. Written by Captain Balch who fought in the Civil War and was a proponent of really solidifying patriotism and American Principals in immigrant kids. Something completely lost today.
"We give our heads and hearts to God and our country; one country, one language, one flag!"
The one used today is, of course, written by a socialist who preached the evil of capitalism. It's no wonder the DNC want to go back to Francis Bellamy's pledge.
There is a hinderance with CEOs (doesn’t completely apply here, as SpaceX isn’t public and it was a major milestone for Elon, this is regarding the thread with Spacex’s accomplishments) with the scrutiny of insider trading. It’s not as liquid as any other shareholder not within the company. The definition changes slightly for them, but you are correct that getting out in a reasonable amount of time, compared to real non liquid assets is different. Just adding to your well put rebuttal.
So, the District Court with the Flynn case is the appropriate place to ask about Presidential spending, with obvious regards to President Trump's executive order?
Ol' McConnell did good blocking this insane judge.
Dude. Now is the opportunity to look at anything you want to peruse. Nothing but time now.
Wanna do some reps for Jesus? I do, nothing is stopping you! Your body is a temple and you have more time to hit a proper schedule.
Want to spend $17 on just an amazing 4 pack of American made craft beer to split over a week? Well my friend, no more buying some other bullshit because it’s “too gross and expensive” so you end up with foreign vodka, sprites, with a splash of grenadine because “It’s better and it’s cheaper to share.” You buy what you fucking want.
Not only are you now not hungover on Sundays. You are now volunteering some of your time actually helping those in need through your church, or maybe you pickup meals on wheels and do one day a week to feed the greatest generation that doesn’t feel quite comfortable going out at this time. When things open up, play cards at the VA with your time, did it in high school and those dudes have the best life advice and humor.
You can really focus on bettering yourself, physically, mentally, and spiritually. That builds insane confidence and you will be back at it in no time with a strong lesson learned on what you are looking for in a partner. Let your future partner know whatever new you do is incredibly important to you and find someone who is accepting who will build you up as a man.
Kick ass out there, one day at a time.
I’m in agreement, but when it comes to mass murderers like this jackass and the one that shot up the church while my fellow Christian brothers and sisters were worshipping can get fucked and I wouldn’t look away when they go under. Those and anyone that gets caught beyond any doubt destroying a child’s life whether it’s through pedophilia or decisively killing a very small child beyond any doubt have 0 sympathy in my eyes.
I also went there 6 years ago. Wasn’t a cruise so I got a bit more time by myself and it not be completely guided. No shit the population is mostly people of color, it was owned by Spain for 400 years. The people have tans and imported slaves, that’s some racist bullshit talking about how they are awesome because of the color of their skin.
I did feel safe walking around, but I was approached by a guy that was trying to get me to go to a restaurant along an alley, so shady shit still goes down. The people are genuinely friendly, but yeah, don’t talk about the government. The countrysides are rife with propaganda of Chavez, which surprised me because I thought it would still be of Fidel (he was alive at the time). I guess this person also didn’t talk to the locals too much because they have to hunt or fish to feed their family as they get paid an absolutely shit wage. They get paid in Cuban pesos which is like 4c per peso. I think the average person gets like 50 pesos a month? Something like that, so they have to be intuitive in making money. Probably why they kick ass coming to the US having to have the drive to make money.
Also, the classic cars are pretty much taxis, most people hitchhike to get around as Cuba will not import automobiles. People that have moved their from other countries can however, and they receive more rights than the natural citizen.
Tldr: the people actually do kickass. The person who went there was in a fucking bubble and didn’t even try to experience the people’s day to day.
I'm in Augusta, where they are from and there is a pavilion dedicated to them. We call it Lady A. The formal name of the park is Evans Towne Center Park. The pavilion, however, is only 9 years old. So that's a short backstory of them being called Lady A. They might have been called it longer, but I don't listen to their music and neither do my friends, so I don't know if they are called that in a social context or not regarding the band itself.
All said, I'm sure a bunch of black people's to do list included getting the band to change their name. The black population will be thrilled to know that white democrats will no longer be racist after this brave move. /s
Tis the season for false hate crimes.
