To start, even Wikipedia admits this Wisconsin county and city is considered part of Chicago: Although closer to Milwaukee, the city is part of the United States Census Bureau's Chicago combined statistical area (CSA)[10] and metropolitan statistical area.
Kenosha has been mostly an after-thought for people like myself from the greater Milwaukee area. If you know and read history, about 20 years ago Racine and Kenosha county were the literal hotbeds of Islam in the US. Before 9/11 and after there were many reports and hidden stories about this.
Suddenly this town is thrust into the national spotlight… Well not really. With media changing the importance of stories people forget the Wisconsin governor in national media just a few years ago. Scott Walker FELLED the unions, and was the first governor to survive a recall, and get re-elected. That started the potential of an enormous stimuli to Wisconsin with the Foxconn facility. THAT was in Kenosha. That’s about all Kenosha was worth, otherwise it was irrelevant.
In 2018 less than 30,000 votes changed the shape of Wisconsin, a state of over 6,000,000 people. Shortly after midnight on November 7th, Milwaukee County reported around 46,000 previously uncounted ballots. From those late ballots, Evers received 38,674 votes, or 84% of the total, and Walker 7,181, giving Evers a decisive lead. The race was called for him shortly after.
If you think WI is a fly-over state, or worthless in the national agenda; I suggest you look into our politics in the past 20 years.
ALL the past SERIOUS civil unrest and riots in the past year have happened in MAJOR cities. Population of millions. Kenosha is symbolic, and a tiny place, irrelevant to the US, but HUGE to the state of WI. It is becoming a national spotlight, and worrying me.
I BEG ALL WI residents to rally to Trump. This whole scenario has potential to effect the national election. Kenosha is truly a fly-over county in a state that is fly-over as well. I think this is truly a mission to effect the election, and I’m terrified about the national media response and reaction.
The first thing that came to my mind seeing facebook today was to change my profile picture to plain white.
