Got a degree in Computer Engineering. That was before all these boot camps and free content on YouTube. The degree is less important now. Just learn a language, pick an area that you're interested in, learn that area and do a bunch of projects of your own, with your own heavy lifting. It's good to do the tutorials but after that you need to come up with a different project where you do it all yourself end to end. It's fine if it sucks, you are going to be entry level or Junior at best. I expect that from you as a Senior. You don't need to come up with a brand new idea, just pick something and do it yourself with your skills and knowledge and anything you can learn to help you is on the table. Just get it working. Put all your projects on your resume. If you like software, make a front end to a Music player. If you like embedded, make a 10key for a keyboard. If you like front end, make a Twitter UI replacement. Backend? make a URL shortener for Twitter. Start with small projects and work your way up to big ones. Shouldn't take more than a year total.
Gather your emotions ma'am. All Christian women are milk-toast Christians? You need to reconsider who you associate with. There are other stores besides Target, a child hardly needs to starve for a woman's convenience. Since there is obviously no man in your life, I'll do you a solid. You are the woman, it is your job to plan and prepare ahead of time for your child's well-being. There were not always box stores and super markets, and yet our mothers still got the job done. They figured it out and you can figure it out.
The Bud Light protest worked because it was men who could walk away. What's going to happen in a week when these milk-toast Christian mothers need something for their kid? They'll do whatever is easiest for them. That's means, they are going straight back to Target.
Jesus Christ, if you like computers, just do a stupid boot camp and be done with it. I assume he's not making 3x a software developer's salary. I'm a Senior Dev, and even if he made near as much as my base salary, not considering total compensation, all the perks and unlimited vacation and flexibility of working remotely, it's no-contest. I was literally riding my motorcycle around Mexico for the last two years. My friends would call me and ask me to come to DR. I would just work from Romano or Bonau. Before all this, I was an Aircraft Mechanic. I've been on both sides of the coin. You have opportunity everywhere my dude.
Research isn't as altruistic as they would have you believe. I'm sure the professor is getting paid and that's all he cares about. The school gets money so a nice new shiny building. It's "free" money. I'm sure the Dems will use it as a talking point even if nothing new comes from rehashing previously paid-for research. The mainstream media won't fact-check the results, if any. Leftist will definitely look the other way.
Agreed. You know how the left is, "evil evil carbon dioxide". I would prefer to have the carbon locked away in a plant my food can eat. Probably in ten million years people will be digging up the remains of repurposed bespoke artisanal porous freeway objects and using them as a source of energy. Just like we do with the dead trees from the Carboniferous period.
Concrete is porous. I assume they will use some sort of chemical bond. Probably they will dope the concrete with something that bonds easily with a carbon atom. They do it with silicon, no reason to think they can't do it with carbon.
I'm White Hispanic, but I'm sure they don't mean me. I'm not Mexican, but when I was riding my motorcycle around various parts of Mexico, there were plenty of White Mexicans. There is even slang for it. If wokeanomics gymnasts realized, not all Hispanics and Latinos are brown and black, their heads would explode.
Makes a difference when one has their personal property on the line.
