Pretty against the mentality of chalking up lost causes as hopeless. There’s always a way to introduce basic questioning in the tenets of one’s core beliefs.
That’s all it takes for the door to crack open - once people see they fell hook line and sinker for fake news, they start doing some digging of their own into what else they have been lied to

By extension this lack of gratitude applies to the very foundations of this country and even Western civilization itself.
It’s not being taught - the default mode for students is assuming the luxuries of today’s day and age exist just because. And beyond that, they aren’t even satisfied with today’s unprecedented prosperity...

I’ve been considering the removal of tribulations to be one of if not the biggest cause for this trend towards societal collapse. The majority of young people in this country have coasted and believe they are entitled to continue doing so.
Not only that, but the lessons learned from overcoming challenges are being replaced by social programming from pop culture and groupthink spawning from internet bubbles. It’s highly concerning and I’m not sure if the trend is reversible at this point.
I was raised with limited “media time” each and every day (30-90 minutes) and am beyond thankful for it.
That simple rule instilled a lifelong love of reading and learning, as well as avoided my brain getting turned to mush. My parents were vigilant about limiting which shows were allowable as well (notably, spongebob was not allowed - there’s been multiple studies on that show’s detrimental affects to childrens’ attention spans and ability to retain information).
When I’m a parent I will implement the same rules. It’s that simple
Taking away visibility of friendly smiles and full facial expressions when interacting definitely has this effect.

It’s clear that you’re spewing talking points without being informed. Again, the immunized money means that the currency shouldn’t be debased (playing out now with the strength of the dollar amidst all this money printing).

Time to start applying elsewhere. I’m dead serious - if you have a decent track record / credentials and a good work ethic you can likely find other attractive offers. And you won’t miss the forced compliance... today it’s masks, tomorrow it’s something else (trackers, vaccines, thought police etc)

In principle I used to totally agree but MMT actually may have legitimate traction. The QE we’re seeing is immunized money which should limit inflation. And it’s exactly what we needed to smooth the hump of COVID and get us back on track to a roaring MAGA economy

Growing up watching games with family and friends in a sober environment with commercials muted helped me grow into the man I am today and I hope to do the same with my children one day.
Although the politics in your face is fucking annoying and I’m borderline on continuing to watch any game at all outside of the teams I root for. Fantasy sports is a fun way to bond with my friends regardless, and provides a way to connect to and engage with uniquely American culture in a way I enjoy that is to me more meaningful than the vast majority of pop culture. Our league is very competitive and I have learned valuable statistical analysis skills from preparation in an enjoyable manner.
In short, let people enjoy things, especially if it is done responsibly and in moderation, as all things should be
