Facebook is in control of the Oculus unit manufacturing, no they did not develop the original idea/prototype.
Once bought, Facebook can dictate how it's built, so uhhhhh... yes? Doesn't matter that Palmer Luckey founded Oculus, he's obviously not there any longer so what say does he have in how these devices are produced going forward?
