Exactly. I'm sick and tired of being told every single year that teachers don't make enough money when the average in my State is around 75K (WA). Some of these tenured PE coaches are making in the 90'sk for the High School. These people work a seasonal job, lets be honest. They get every fucking bank holiday off, half days, snow days, Xmas, easter, honika, kwanza, earth day, etc. and they fail miserably at their jobs year over fucking year. There is a reason for the old saying "those that cant do, teach."
If there is a continual decline in reading, writing and arithmatic, why do we need to constantly give teachers raises every year? What other job (other than congress) can you under preform year over year, yet demand more $?
I'm with you there. TD was pretty much all I used Reddit for, and I will admit, I was pretty irritated every time the Mods bent over for the admin.
I think the current event was happening all along, it wasn't some organic illness that sprouted out of nowhere. Manufactured, if you will. I kind of think of it like a fight with one fighter clearly winning (Trump) and the other (DS) throwing wild hay makers because a knock out is the only way he can win. But in this scenario the announcers telling the viewers how one sided the fight is, have had their mics cut, and instead we have to listen to the losers corner talk about how the main fighter (Trump) isn't doing enough to win. They have been silencing us leading up to this last leg of the 2020 election.
