Republicans have more potential to be loyal to the US. The problem is establishment candidates who talk a good talk but never do anything. They conserve nothing and sell us out at every turn. Fortunately, we're getting more America First candidates who can start living up to the party's potential.
It's not going to get better right away. It took a long time to get to this point so expect it to take a while to get out of it. Even if we get a civil war, we'd still need time to unfuck everything. Voting is important and needs to be taken seriously at every level and in every public institution otherwise it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. This needs to be coupled with cultural pushback and reasserting our basic rights. The left is giving us an excellent opportunity right this very moment to push back on 2A and 1A issues.
Calipede here. I kinda hope they do try to secede so that NorCal and other red areas have a reason to break off and the feds/militias have a reason to round up the treasonous officials. They're not gonna keep the farmland for long, that's for sure.
They like to do this for any pet issue they can:
Gun control only works if everyone does it. Masks only work if everyone does it. Vaccines only work if everyone does it. Socialism only works if everyone does it.
It's peak external locus of control.
Keung and Lane were the first ones on the scene. Chauvin didn't show up until later. I believe it was Lane who approached Floyd in the car but it didn't look like he had his gun drawn when he first went up to the window.
At least one of the rookie officers asked (maybe multiple times) if they should turn Floyd over after they couldn't get a pulse.
Chauvin gets the benefit of the doubt because of the ME's report where it shows Floyd was hopped up on Fentanyl and Meth and, from what others have said, Chauvin was following procedure. Floyd's death seems like it was accidental at worst, so nothing above maybe manslaughter would stick (not a lawyer though).
He even asked to be put on the ground while they were trying to get him in the car. That plus the drugs they found in his system, there's no way a fair jury will convict Chauvin. Then again, with all the bullshit going on there might not be a single juror left with the balls to not convict him.
The cops who enforce this are as guilty as Murphy himself
