My grandparents willingly gave up their licences. Grandpa was going blind and grandma stepped up and learned to drive. She handed Dad her keys at 75 because she felt her reflexes were too slow. On my mom’s side grandpa died fairly young at 64 and though she got her license, she realized she was simply not a good driver, gave her car to my aunt and never drove again.

My grandmas died in their late 90s. They looked like sweet caring people right to the end. Almost 100 years of joy and happy memories lined their faces to the point they appeared to be smiling after they died. I have no memories of them even so much as scowling.

It's because the current left have a narrow vision and struck too soon. After generations of their ancestors laid the groundwork to overturn what the American founders built, this latest group pushed too hard, too fast and got caught. They want the changes they are trying to make to happen in their lifetime and don't realize it would take several more lifetimes of subversion and changes to make this work. They want power and wealth for themselves. They aren't planning for their descendants and lineage. That's why they've all been exposed for what they are.
Luckily the USA's conservative population do look to the future. The founding fathers started the country with a plan that looked beyond single generations. They made choices based on bettering the country, their communities, and giving their children something to build from. The Constitution exists because the founders of the country knew that at some point evil people fueled by greed would want to erase what they did. All of the people I work with work hard every day to make their kid's lives better and give them more options and opportunities.
