Pede, respectfully I disagree. For this movement to succeed, it HAS to be bigger, much bigger in scope than just Trump himself. You saw how he (graciously) bowed out during inauguration day,most likely from weariness. He's just a man, like any other. He can't always be THE symbol that represents all of us and our efforts, and he can't always be held at an amazingly higher regard than others atop a giant pedestal. That kind of worship is what gives celebrities and politicians the power they have and therefore the proclivity towards corruption later down the road. Rather, he needs to be held pretty much at the same level as all of us. I think he should be acknowledged as the person who POINTED us to THE SYMBOL and the movement that each of us here stand and fight for. Pede, truly thank you so very much. I took your words to heart the past few days, and I can honestly say that your words gave not only me, but my fiance peace of mind, as well. Ultimately you're right. I can only change what I can actively change. We stepped away from everything for a little bit and remembered that all of this has been going on long before any of us were born, and it will more than likely keep going until Lord knows when. Through the good Lord and practical thinking and preparing we've made it through many disasters, some of which we didn't even know about until they were over! What's important is our lives and what we need and want to do in them locally here at home and in our neighborhoods, in our part of this timeline. Your words, as well as others here helped to snap me out of the doom and gloom that has seemed to hover over for quite some time now. Its astonishing how easily we can get emotional and mental tunnel vision. Almost as if we end up thinking that we HAVE to live the same way as others are if we keep hearing it on TV, MSM, Social Media, etc. There's many ways we can all choose to live our lives, and not necessarily just stuck in the rat race with other perhaps more nefarious folk's social constructs. Perhaps now, especially today is a good time to get back to the more basic and nature-oriented life that I typically enjoy the most. You are absolutely right, with everything you said, but especially when you said I'd feel SO much better when I was able to detox from it all for a bit. I want to be wrong when I say this, but I'm worried it's not going to happen because it seems to me that if he was planning on making an announcement, he or those he trusts would try SOME WAY to give more details so that more Americans receive it okay. I am pretty damn sure that "concession speech" was a fake. Before his ban, Trump himself also hinted at it not being a real statement that he put out. Also, General Flynn, Rudy Guiliani and several other people in Trump's administration had put out statements on Parler, Clouthub and Gab saying that Trump "Will be in office for the next four years PER THE RULE OF LAW". How do you explain that if he supposedly conceded?
