Historically, the French weren't immediately organized or resist too much when they were occupied by the Nazis in the early days of WWII. Initially it was just Civil Disobedience, which can go a long way. Unfortunately it took outright the revelations of slavery and genocide to force the French to begin mass uprisings.

Then again, the French didn't have the right to bear arms prior to WWII so there's a wild card in the equation.

Neither you or I need to prove the existence of a growing dissidence, we already know it in our hearts, we only need time to prove us right.

Mate, I highly doubt they'll be a highly effective fighting force compared to their right wing counterparts. Antifa is already extremely disorganized as is.

They almost certainly would crack in the face of an overwhelming insurgent movement.

You talk like that strategy has never failed every time it was tried, that every country that has ever done that on a massive scale hasn't collapsed into anarchy.

Hot tip: They all do.

None of those are a effective fighting force against full scale insurgency, nothing is better than trained soldiers in that regard. The Army is going to face a recruiting crisis within the next couple years or so.

Actually, https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f4/NERC-map-en.svg

Florida mostly has it's own power Grid. Most of the Eastern Interconnection is mostly Red States, so really the only issue with those states leaving would be Illinois, Viriginia, MAYBE Georgia. If the majority of those state secede though, Virignia, South Illinois and Georgia would be at the mercy of the Majority.
