I spent about 20 seconds looking at twitter responses to this post and I have a hard time real people could be as dumb as those replies appear to suggest.

There's a constant internal struggle. Part of me doesn't want to accept that there are so many humans in the US that are subhuman scumbags. I don't want to think of these humans as non-people. But they are making it hard for me.

when someone claimed to have illegally-obtained copies of Trump's tax returns they never batted an eye or blocked anyone

i hate to say it, but the police don't really deserve the support they are getting from the right. they owe their allegiance to leftist governments even as those governments cut their budgets, throw them under the bus, and threaten their safety. they may nod and wave to the support of Trump-voters, but in the end they will allow themselves to be used against you in a heartbeat.

stupid games and stupid prizes isn't something that only applies to the left. there is a time to fight. there is a time to stand down. wisdom is knowing the difference.

there is no merit in getting in fights that need not happen, or dying foolishly.

as a reminder:

there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do to force a DA to charge someone with a crime if they refuse to do so. it doesn't matter if they are a murderer. it doesn't matter if there are dozens of witnesses and videotape. they can just say "fuck you" and not.

it's a major loophole in the justice system and Soros found it. this is why he has bought so many DA's across America. you're afraid to act to stop antifa or to defend yourself in many situations. why? because you are afraid that the government will use the process to punish you. but antifa does not fear that, because they have DA's who have been put there to protect them. Soros is evil but not stupid.

remember, there is absolutely nothing anyone can do to force a DA to bring charges. they can just choose not to, even if the person murdered someone live on tv in front of God and everybody.

this is why none of the people who attacked Rittenhouse have been charged. the Kenosha DA is just like "nah, these was good old antifa boys, they dindunuffin"

it's an inside joke. like their "book clubs" and other similar bs. they give fake names to their events

The FBI will deploy 5 van-loads of agents to investigate a garage-door pull.

In every ring of 5 "white supremacists" 3 will be undercover FBI

Meanwhile Antifa continues on unchallenged, unabated, and unbound. Federal LE kills patriots and conservatives. Leftists and communists need never fear them. They're the next closest thing to an ally.

yep, you can't escalate and then immediately shoot and kill. if you escalate you have to retreat before you can defend yourself. that's pretty much standard anywhere in the country, even a shithole like Denver.

In my area, 3/4 of the Biden/Harris signs I see are in public areas along roadways that nobody owns, like a stoplights and medians. Political operatives are putting them out to give the impression that real people support Biden/Harris. But I almost never see any in anyone's front yard.

court packing would mean the end of the judiciary as an independent body, and would be a giant step towards banana republic status for our country

it's the reality of the world we live in. battle lines are being drawn. brother against brother, like ACW round 1. I have family and friends who will be on the other side. to say nothing of actors and artists i like, as you say.

It's bigger than that. The right's values are American values. The left's values aren't. There are a LOT of Americans who no longer have American values. We must drag them kicking and screaming back to the real America.

a bit off topic but let me just say....

The plot of Infinity War set Thanos up as this complex villain with complex motives, and I thought to myself, a cool way to end the next movie would be for them to show Thanos that his believed "utopia" was actually hellish and that he was wrong, leading to a redemption arc and a reversal. They spent an unreasonable amount of time in IW trying to explain his motives and making him relatable only to just do the monolithic badguy routine in Endgame. What happened in Endgame you could have replaced him with any random "I am evil hear me roar" badguy in any superhero movie ever.

I thought it was a colossal waste of storytelling and left some chekov's guns unfired.

But I guess it was a mistake to expect great storytelling from Disney anyway.

Right. If anything, covid would be driving TV viewership up, if that was the only thing at play.
