I got into a conversation with a born again Christian in a hardware store in Calgary in 2018 - pretty sure he was trying to get me to join his church.
Whenever I told him about Canada's problems with immigration he didn't want to hear anything I had to say and called it fake news. It made me realize how brainwashed Christians in Canada are. The guy was full-on open borders.
Back in the UK in 2007, I was talking to a Christian girl at my university about immigration. I said the Labour government wanted uncontrolled immigration and she angrily shouted at me "GOOD! THAT'S GOOD." Yikes. All her churchgoing friends shared her "progressive" views.
It feels like maybe 90% of churchgoers in Canada and the UK are ultra left wing, based on my interactions over the past 15 years.
I've written them off as a group who are wrong and won't listen to reason.
