Hell I'd pay for their plane ticket.
If the pro-2A crowd can form an alliance with the more moderate, rational BLM types, we could pull this off. I've talked with some and there are some rational people. Right now the media is hyping the most extreme, whacked out, Antifa-sympathetic weirdos. I think this is why we've seen some videos of former BLM members who have gotten disillusioned.
GUYS GUYS
Look I know we want to send in troops now to restore security, but trust me on this one, LET IT PLAY OUT. Let it become the next Occupy where all the lefttards come speak at it, but in 1-2 months it turns into a degenerate homeless camp. Then the campaign commercials pretty much write themselves.
It's Seattle. We have no interest in that city. Let them fall apart.
Agreed. My concern is the deep state is, successfully, turning this into an us vs. them issue. By all means, lock up Antifa. No issue. But I'm not going to blindly defend police when they cross the line. For more info on that, ask Michael Flynn or anyone shot in a no knock warrant.
This guy gets it. The right is gonna get in trouble if it reflexively jumps into the defend law enforcement at all costs trap. It's not gonna be the military that's coming to confiscate guns. It's going to be local crooked union cops who are "just following orders." Doesn't make you a SJW to say that crooked cops need to be dealt with - we've seen plenty of them with McCabe & friends.
Antifa has been their paramilitary force for a while, so this isn't new.
I think you'd like the website Wall Street Playboys. It's not a political site, but it is red pilled for sure.
Hell yeah let's get a based and red pilled tech network going. I imagine there are a bunch. We'll make Austin the red pilled Silicon Valley. Trust me Austin isn't all liberals, despite how much the media wants to meme that into reality. Lots of veterans and plenty of guns and ammo.
Agree. I think it will come back, not necessarily old vBulletin style forums, but some new kind of paradigm entirely. Reddit has a good model, just bad leadership. I think sites like TheDonald could do well. Maybe in the future we will see something like this but with subforums, like a general politics discussion and then subforums for things like weapons, entrepreneurship, investing, fitness - the SJWs have their networks in Silicon Valley and (((Wall Street))) that will help them, so might as well have a network that works in our favor for a change.
Lol they'll be saying this in 2024
Internet is going to go back to how it used to be, lots of small forums all over the place that link between each other. Wasn't until the early 2010s that Facebook and Reddit got so dominant. Aberration.
Case in point - our site right here.
Verbal judo. Don't stop their momentum. Use their momentum to OUR advantage.
THIS. All Black Lives Matter.
Lots of wisdom can be gained from judo and jiu-jitsu. Use your opponents momentum to your advantage. Don't try to stop "Black Lives Matter" as a phrase. It's just words. Sticks and stones. Instead, co-opt the phrase for our own.
Time to shitpost! Here's what I wrote:
Thank goodness she cleared the highways. I know we were all inspired by the moving and powerful images of Trump in front of St. John's. Peaceful protests are okay but we are all glad that the Antifa misfits are being stopped! My 7 year old daughter was watching this on television with me, and she said "daddy, why aren't the shop keepers defending their stores from the mean people?" Wow. Times are changing!
Outrage fatigue. Give it 2 more weeks and it will still be around but it will be going full Occupy Wall Street mode, meaning lost any semblance of its original message and just turned into a homeless camp basically.
I'm gonna say something that might get me in trouble but this is how I see it: the NG Troops are the "trigger force." If one of them get injured, the outrage will be so severe that the public will be demanding a full scale crackdown across the board. The military is still a very respected institution by the public, far more so than the police.
We're fighting a war here, but it's counterinsurgency, not a conventional fight between tanks. Optics and public opinion matter. I hate saying that, but it is what it is. Read FM 3-24. It's unclassified. That's our playbook.
Former Dallasite here. The city really isn't as blue as you might think, in fact honestly it's one of the more conservative big cities in the country. Austin and Houston are the more "true blue" in Texas. Had a lot of complacent young professionals in Uptown, but had a BUNCH of people in Uptown text me last week asking about gun advice and one even asked about body armor. The Boog Boys are coming to the urban cities.
Tennessee National Guard, 278th Armored Cav Regiment. These guys aren't MPs. They're Infantry.
In fact, send them a bill for the FBI's overtime.
How about no
OAF Nation is a veteran's interest blog and Instagram. Stands for Operator As Fuck. Used to be funny memes, based making fun of SJWs, serious discussion of PTSD from combat, life after the military - now somewhere along the line it's gone 180 degrees to ORANGE MAN BAD 24/7. I don't get it. It's like they got new ownership or something.
DO IT!!!
For real though would be nice to get some based billionaires like Mercer and Thiel, maybe Musk if he stays on his current prescribed regimen of red pills, to be like a reverse Soros. You guys read Atlas Shrugged? Let's give a $100k one time check to any NYPD or Chicago PD officer who wants to resign after dealing with all this bullshit from their leadership. Maybe the only way we get change is if these ivory tower elites finally have to "enjoy" the consequences that the people they rule over have to deal with.
Holy shit. Alright look, when Mattis resigned, I was of the view of "I respect the man but disagree with his views." Last 24 hours...this guy totally and completely exposed himself as deep state.
I'm going to make another call out here. OAF Nation. If you're a vet or if you're active duty you know exactly what I'm talking about. These guys too have totally hopped on the perpetual war deep state bandwagon.
No way Drumpf is gonna recover from this bombshell. The walls are closing in.
"one of the most controversial weeks of Trump's presidency"
They truly do live in an echo chamber if they believe this
