This is exactly what I'm saying about Austin. The media, successfully, demoralized the right in Texas to just accept losses in Austin. It's really not that far left of a city, culturally. The current crop of leaders and the mayor aren't popular here, especially with their vagrant camping policies.

Yep, that happened and it's unfortunate, but also not wildly popular either. 60/40 tilt leftward but elected officials acting like it's 90/10. Austin is a truly diverse city, not diverse in the sense that it's all upper middle class woke White people, but you really got a little bit of everything, including tons of military veterans who seem to keep moving here in droves.
Austin honestly isn't far left. It's maybe 60/40 blue/red. It's a little blue but it's not San Francisco at all. The wacko mayor here isn't popular.
Voted early in Texas. Managed to talk a friend in Michigan who voted Hillary in 2016 to vote Trump this time! She's not hard left by any means so it wasn't a huge hurdle. She's just got disillusioned with woke culture and also liked how Trump crushed ISIS.

I could do a longer post about this at some point, but we need to build face to face connections at the local level. I love all my frends here but imagine if we actually could link up, not even for politics discussion but just beers and pizza or something. I'm not saying that as just a way to bro out but it actually IS political. For example, only a handful like Kyle Rittenhouse actually defended their communities, despite the tough talk from the usual suspects on the normie right. It's not that our side doesn't have balls. It's that our side feels alone. The media demoralizes people to make them feel like they're the only one who feels the way they do...so sure maybe you're packing, but are you really going to be the one to take a lone stand if you think no one else has your back?
Need to build up local connections. That's not how we just win now, but it's how we keep winning in the future. This site is a great starting point, and I'd like to see it expand in the future to help facilitate those local connections.
