I havent watched sports in 10 years. my life has been better without it. ANytime someone mentioned sports or if I saw the game, I just simply say "nah I aint gunna watch virtue signalling million / billionaires, that are predominately a minority in the US, tell me I'm privileged while they make more than what I and 5 generations before me have made together, in a life time, that they have made in 1 season." They dont even give back to where they came from, they got there's and horde it. Just because someone makes a ton of money, doesn't mean they are smart, but rather more than likely controlled useful idiots for clout chasing.

These tech companies or really any companies come to an area b.c its cheap as fuck and invest in it and buy up property to improve it which requires marking up prices in the housing right, which helps nearby places values as well? Then they pay people the median salary to afford to live in the areas they bought and invested in so they can build "their" community and be close to work. Maybe the people who had the land / homes shouldn't have sold if their neighborhood and community was so important?
I def understand the issues with this as it creates new influence, power imbalances, and opposite idea/ideologies as you say has happened, but in the end isnt it the individuals and communities choice to stand up to shit like this? Isnt communities fault to think their gov was going to protect them and their interest over influence, power, etc? I mean shit if I was in a poor area and a company said "ill give u 2-3x what your property is worth, I'd fucking take it as well and move to a different state, location, etc if I knew I could have a job there or if my current job could support that "upgrade" or i'd invest for long term road.
I feel like I'm sort of used to it, as I moved a bunch as a child (5x) in 3 different states upgrading and downgrading based on what the job my mom n dad had coming in at the time. And the reason homeless happens is when they get that money they blow it immediately b.c they dont know how to handle finances or homeless people migrate to where people have money

they are heavily involved with State Law blocking /enhancing gun ownership, which is why you dont hear much about them in the news. They dont do a ton on a federal level. They help with alerts, etc. The biggest thing federal as of late was the bumpstock appeal that they almost had but got cucked by judge, but they are still fighting it federally. They also did some work last year on suppressor bought and used in a suppressor legal state
