For anyone in this thread who is interested in this topic there are some great youtube series on auditing the police. Just search 'audit the police'. Personally I think this needs to be a much bigger movement. Our police forces are out of control and have been for some time.

Actually I've been thinking about this a lot and I've read a fair bit about the culture and times leading up to WW2. Are we on the precipice of a similar hyperinflation that leads to global conflict? Are we trying to stand our ground while the ground gives way beneath us? Sure feels that way. Maybe Trump was the last defense before it all unravels and the real ugliness is ahead of us. How does any of this resolve itself in a reasonable manner?
