Except that the authorities didn't investigate more than asking the guy, this makes sense to me. If there were in fact dozens of cases arising from a single person visiting a pizza shop once, that would imply the existence of the most infectious virus known to modern humans, and (like how China could have if the CCP didn't thoroughly persecute both whistleblowers and small time administrators that raise problems for help) they might have a fleeting chance to crush it before it spreads worldwide.

I read a CNN opinion piece about this topic. They stated that if Trump wins a second term, it will embolden him to violate the Constitution and declare himself president for life. Apparently he's been patiently acting inside the bounds of the law for his whole life, but now showing he still has many supporters will finally cause his transformation into Mecha-Hitler, and democracy is doomed for the next... Let's be realistic here, 20 years?

I'm sorry, but you've clearly missed the memo. Orange man is Bad. Ergo all of this is acceptable.

So all the voters that voted for Biden think Trump should concede? That's not a surprise.

They say 98% for Biden, with 2 ballots for Trump. That implies this counter saw 100, which could be the size of batch they count ballots in.

You're incorrect about certification, very few states have certified their results. "Normally" between 8 (Delaware, Louisiana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, Wyoming, south Carolina, Mississippi) and 12 would have by now, and last I knew, 10 actually have.

I wonder how many disconnected normies think defunding the police is good so they can celebrate holidays.

The EO is targeted almost exclusively against foreign interference. It requires a report be prepared detailing any signs of/evidence for foreign interference within 45 days, and then a second report 45 days later again on who is behind it, and creates sanctions and other possible things to use against such persons or entities.

One grounds for recusal is "the judge has a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party". How many judges have refused themselves from any case involving Trump? How many decisions against Trump have displayed obvious, 100% TDS?

This is just registrations, not actual votes. It means there are dead people and/or people that have moved out still on the rolls, in large numbers.

That could be the date they switched to digital voter registration records. I don't know why they would discard the original registration time, though.

Where are the deaths associated sourced? I checked into one late in the list, and can only find confirmation that her husband died in 2012, no newspaper announcement, and find a grave has her year of death as unknown.

This one time, he said a pile of cheeseburgers from McDonald's was a mile high, but actually it was only about a foot tall.

Wapo's list of Trump lies has a most repeated lies. Of the 8, 6 were actually true, 1 is an exaggeration (Trump claims to have passed the biggest tax cut ever), and one appears to be Trump calling the trade goods deficit with China the trade deficit, which would lose you points as an economics undergrad, so... Good for Wapo, they got him!

So... Which headline will CNN be running first?

"Trump looks very unpresidential again"

"Trump fails to start a war - AGAIN"

"The walls are closing in on prospects for peace in the middle east"

"Obidenbama's foreign policy is still paying dividends for peace"

I speculate that the slow releases are to make Xi look bad. Basically a message like: "If Xi was really as powerful as he boasts, he would plug the leak in hours. Instead it's taken days and he's still not there. He can't protect you. You need to jump ship." to Xi's supporters in the CCP.

2 weeks after the election is still before inauguration; Biden was still a government official at this time.

A corrupt, lying, terrible government official, but official nonetheless.

As long as they didn't cover the pee tape, the refusal to disavow white supremacists, and the Russian collusion hoax, I'm pretty much OK with this stance. Little of the emails is directly tied to Biden yet, and while I expect the next drop or two to land a more direct blow, lagging behind the headlines and only reporting the worthwhile events is laudable.

Oh, they covered all of those things?

Fuck NPR.

If you live in a high tax state and make high to extreme amounts of income, the cap on state and local tax deductions could make your taxes stay the same, or even go up under the Trump tax cuts. This should make people bear the true cost of high state taxes, instead of having the federal government subsidize them.

I was unable to find anything that definitively deduces the mechanism behind this.

I will guess that this is related to the ways viral RNA replication is imperfect. It's possible that repeated As on the tail are reasonably successful at preventing partial replication of the RNA sequence. It's shorter and simpler than telomeres (which require multiple protein sequences to fully support), and other research has demonstrated that shorter viral RNA is more successful, so it's usual for it to be trimmed down far more than genetic material from cells.

Just a guess, though.

This is a common feature of coronaviruses in general, and absolutely not unique to the CCP virus. Here's a paper from 2001 talking about is role in viral reproduction for coronaviruses: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-1-4615-1325-4_68
