Doubt it. These people still haven’t accepted 2016. The response from the media, the Dems, big tech, corporate America, and many “scientific” institutions has been to smear Trump 24/7 with lies and gamble that his low popularity could give them the opportunity to move the country even further left. How much longer can we continue to coexist with these people?
It’s quite terrifying to see just how much of our institutions have been taken over by the Left. The swamp runs deeper than I could ever have imagined. Even if Trump wins a second term, there’s a lot of work left to do.
Do you work at a big tech company? We are already overrun.
They are usually decent at the coding per se, but all that logic goes out the window the moment they talk about politics. They also waste money on ridiculous diversity programs and are extremely intolerant towards right-of-center views.
Sad to see you’re being downvoted and it does show that TDW does have a bit of a race issue when it comes to immigration. Some of us here are first gen or second gen immigrants who hate socialism and will always vote MAGA. Before you guys start blanket attacking entire races of people and try to ban legal immigration, maybe you should work with us to try and fix all the institutions taken over by the far Left so our children don’t get brainwashed in public schools.
I agree with you, but the problem is, the Left does not extend us the same courtesy. Corporations therefore conclude that the logical business decision is to kowtow to the Left. If we don't want to walk an ever-narrowing path, at some point we will need to fight fire with fire.
Mitch has done more than almost any other politician alive today to protect our freedom and our constitution, especially if he pulls this confirmation off. It makes me sad knowing that when he dies, the MSM will spin him as a toxic obstructionist instead of as the American hero he deserves.
Well, this is assuming the Dems don’t pack the court...
The Dems are playing a much longer game here. They will use Ginsburg’s death as a means to turn out voters, and if they win, they will nuke the senate filibuster and pack the Supreme Court. Schumer and Nadler are already threatening to do this.
We should still fill the seat, but I’m genuinely scared for our country’s future. If the Democrats expand the court and get away with it, we could seriously be headed towards a civil war.
I've long maintained that a left-wing atheist is a contradiction. The whole point of being an atheist is that you don't accept propositions without facts, logic, and evidence. Left-wing atheists see religion as a fairy tale and Christians as brainwashed idiots, but they never realize that they believe in tons of ideas that are decisively refuted by empirical evidence, and are much more destructive to the country than what most religious Christians believe.
I would much rather associate with someone who doesn't believe in evolution, or thinks the world is only 6000 years old, than someone who thinks that socialism is a good idea. Believing the former doesn't matter for shit as long as you don't teach intro biology. Believing the latter can ruin lives and get people killed if enough idiots think and vote the same way.
This right here. The game has only just started. Mitch starts with 53 votes but it’s entirely possible that Romney, Collins and Murkowski are all Nos on a truly based justice. He literally has no margin for error this time.
I honestly think Lion Ted would be the best pick for the Court. He has a proven record and I’d trust him over any Federalist Society lawyer I’d never heard of before.
We’d lose a reliable vote in the Senate, which, although valuable, pales in comparison to somebody who won’t cuck out when it comes to undoing the last 40 years of the Left’s damage to the constitution.
This city and its state ought to be the crown jewel of the world. Great weather, tech, huge economy, wine, Hollywood...doesn’t matter. Add Democrats and you get a shithole. Breaks my heart.
Been living here for 4 years. Only reason I’m here is tech but when I buy a house you can bet it’ll be in Texas.
The only thing scarier than Mark Zuckerberg is the fact that the left hates Mark Zuckerberg. They literally think that him deciding not to censor conservative speech to the same degree Twitter does is a threat to democracy.
When even Mark Zuckerberg is not considered left enough, we have a serious problem.
In general, the California ballot is a complete and utter shitshow. Almost every proposition is either a terrible idea, or the attempted reversal of a terrible idea that has already passed the state legislature.
