I was a bit foggy on the details - woods, not desert - (heard the story over a decade ago) but I should mention "nobody knew" Charles Hatfield was burning sulfur (and probably other chemicals) to make the clouds form.

Thanks.

ONE HASH WITH NO SEPARATION BETWEEN HASH AND FIRST LETTER

ONE HASH WITH ONE SPACE BETWEEN HASH AND FIRST LETTER

Same font size as yours, but yours is bold and mine is not..

I guess you're just a mightier centipede. Impressive girth as well as impressive length.

Yes, it is that bad. In fact, it may be worse. EVERYONE is supposed to get the COVID vaccine.

China is massively expanding its weather-modification program, saying it will be able to cover half the country in artificial rain and snow by 2025

WOW.

Legend has it that during the Great Drought - The Dust Bowl - a man signed a contract with California Governor to make it rain and fill up the reservoirs for an obscene about of money. He went into the desert and burned sulfer and made clouds which caused rain to fall. And fall. And fall. He filled up the reservoirs and wend to collect his money and they laughed him out of the office and upon leaving he told them he'd make the rain stop when they paid him double and they could come to his home with the cash. After the reservoirs overflowed mud slides started they had to take him seriously and pay up.

You can't run an industrial society off of windmills

Why does it work for Canada then?

Because the windmills don't really generate much power here.
Like maybe 2%
Hydroelectric Dams, Fossil Fuels and Nuclear do the majority.
In fact, Quebec produces so much electricity from 7 dams and
1 remaining reactor that it supplies the US Eastern Seaboard
power grid down to Florida. When an ice storm hit Quebec in
the 90s and broke towers for high tension power lines, there
were blackouts down as far as Manhattan until USA could
ramp-up production in New England states. .

Thank you for the link explaining that Texas is without power because Federal Govt regulates pollution emissions and Texas could not produce more power to compensate for the increased draw without permission. Which would probably take half or forever.

Why is the default yellow?

White would be invisible.

My landscaping team could not agree on music so the foreman played talk radio all day. It was the summer of '94 and Rush's show changed my life for the better.

That's an amazing story. FATE LUCK CHANCE that it was Rush's show, but the effect was not surprising.

Just this year on his show he fascinated me with the true story of the first Thanksgiving. Everyone should hear t

Now I'm going to look for it!

EDIT: I guess you're not the only one who was struck by it. A female family member just narrated the story for us upon Rush's death.

when my Father passed in 2015 I started listening partly as a way to reconnect with memories of my Dad. Very quickly started listening every day and have been ever since.

Great story. Thanks for sharing.

We all feel a little lost right now, with the current state of affairs. .
But you are not lost alone, Pede

I would be more inclined to disagree if everyone else had not been cancelled from mainstream media

Alex, Steph, many others

You may be correct. Rush was sensible with his accusations of leftist radicals.lol
