A reason why online polls or news outlet polls are flawed because they run off a type of survey called VRS (Voluntary Response Sample.) The issue with that is you will have two groups that actually care (like the hardcore Trump Biden supporters,) who will do the poll, while not asking the average American who doesnt care enough to do a poll. Secondly you may have bias, which instantly fails the poll's intergity.
