Lazy af union? You really don't have a clue what work is. My longest day was 27 hours straight. My biggest paycheck was more than you make in a month. You are in Missouri? Me too. Go up to any pipefitter and say that to their face.
If I'm understanding your comment, we should all work for slave wages and be thankful for it? Is there any other way to interpret that?
When you have 99% of Republicans that are anti-union, that doesn't leave the members much of a choice. Case in point, we had an anti-union governor, Eric Grietens. He unilaterally passed right-to-work legislation. We then got to vote on it. This red state voted it down because right-to-work workers make less. Fact. I'm conservative as they come, but I will NOT vote for an anti-union candidate. There is a simple fix. Trump is doing it tonight. Get behind the 15 million union workers, and get their vote. Still don't like unions? Don't fucking join one. Get a job somewhere else, or start your own business but stay out of mine.
He needs to stop doing business in a communist state anyway. He may as well be funding isis. There are plenty of red states that would welcome his business.
I've never heard of him. I'm near KC.
I'm showing my age, but she looks just like a California raisin.
The U.S. Senate is not a rehab facility. It's a retirement home.
"I'm anti-union because I tried to join one and they wouldn't let me in". I feel like this is a big part of the anti-union sentiment here. That, and right wing indoctrination. While there may be some truth to it regarding public sector unions, private sector unions are great for the workers. Union skilled-trade jobs like plumbing, pay better, and have better benefits than their non-union counterparts. They "don't protect lazy workers" because ultimately, they are still employed by a contractor. Case in point, I just fired a lazy worker, sent him back to the hall to look for another job, and issued a not-to-rehire. He will never work for us again. They don't give members money straight to democrats. You can voluntarily donate to the PAC fund, I choose not to. I control my own political contributions. They don't take all my money to give to the union bosses. I pay around $40 per check. That covers schooling for 60 apprentices, so the next generation of skilled workers can thrive. If anyone is still reading, all I'm saying is the union has been good to me. I do commercial/industrial HVAC, something that 99% of non-union workers CAN'T do. I make a decent living, health insurance is paid, 2 pensions and an annuity will allow me to retire at 55, and now I'm in the office running a service department. (Still union). I would encourage anyone working in a trade to go to the union hall in their town and talk to them.
The DNC will pay him off, and he will buy a beach home next to Bernie.
My journeyman used to say "don't open up your mouth and let your brains fall out".
That seems to be what you just did.
My union just negotiated a record breaking contract. $15 over 4 years. We didn't have to "go on strike for a dollar"
Union dues? Minimal compared to what we make, and I'm happy to pay them. Our dues fund the next generation of workers by sending them to a state of the art training center. Our dues also get pooled together in a big fund to compete with non-union contractors that barely pay their employees a living wage.
I don't regret joining a union, and I especially won't regret retiring at 55 with 2 pensions and an annuity.
Probably because you think there are two sides. The uniparty would love for everyone to believe that.
Trump pushed the vaccine pretty hard, and was proud of it. He wore masks, and suggested others wear a face diaper. Pfizer also gave him a cool $million to finance his inauguration. Please fact check me and prove me wrong.
Didn't Trump really want him as speaker?
Either a cover up, or Brandon is about to be replaced.
But don't worry. There will be judges holding up everything he does for four years.
Construction workers are well paid, but not paid well enough to leave bags of cocaine laying around.
That's really fuckin cute if you still think there is a difference between the two parties. They all want bigger government and more spending. They only differ on where they want it spent.
That was probably the least damage-causing statement they could make. They could have apologized for having the gay shit in there in the first place, then both sides would be boycotting them. At least now, most white conservative women will go back to shopping there.
I've been thinking about this lately as I have a couple of kids getting ready to graduate hs. As fast as AI is advancing, there is a good chance they will have to rethink their career decisions. I bet in 2 years time, all those stay at home jobs will be replaced by computers.
They don't know what a penis really is.
I quit years ago, hangovers after 35 are not fun anymore. Not to mention the heart risks. When you don't drink, you realize everyone is an alcoholic. You can tell the beer drinkers though by their giant gut.
Sounds like they violated their own inclusion policy by making him feel uncomfortable.
Seems like the logical thing would be to win their vote. Same with unions, the gop is shooting themselves in the foot by constantly shitting on labor unions.
Eric Weinstein mad a good point on Joe Rogan. North Sentinal Island is full of indigenous people that kill any visitors. They are protected by India, and don't even know it. It is against Indian law to even visit the island. Now if they somehow evolve to the point we start seeing mushroom clouds, the world will intervene. He says that's the point where the earth is now. A bunch of dumb monkeys with bombs and the ability to launch them to outer space.
You sound poor.
