Union pipefitter of 20 years here. Our union bosses endorsed Biden, but a lot of the working guys voted for Trump. Used to be, they could take our dues, and give it to whatever politicians they wanted to. Now, we voluntarily contribute to Political Action Committee fund, and they give that money to whatever politicians they want to. I opted out of that hourly contribution when Biden shut down Keystone, and was sure to tell them why.
