Part of reading judicial decisions in law school was assessing poorly reasoned and/or transparently self serving holdings. This is preposterous, by any imaginable standard the most shameless and illogical thing I've ever seen. More people need to see this type of bullshit. When you see someone in a twitter thread celebrating "Drumpf is 1-8 in Pennsylvania" or whatever similar nonsense, point out how silly the 'losses' have been.
Generally you're 100% right, but it seems like local news companies have been able to retain some ability for independent action. The local news is still permitted to report small stories more or less accurately (for now), then the national media cartels just ignore whatever their smaller cousins dig up
