1st, I agree there are bigger things to worry about right now. However, as a woman I believe that by making sex work illegal we put those that make the choice to go into that line of work in danger. If we legalized it, they would have more protections under the law, cleaner places to work, and wouldn't be under the thumbs of pimps taking advantage of them.
I am a Christian woman,, and strongly support a nuclear family. Do I support sex work, No. Would I encourage anyone to be employed in sex work, Hard No. Would I suggest anyone engage with a sex worker, again No. I do understand that there are those who feel they have no other options for companionship, those who do not want a stable relationship for various reasons, etc.
I dont believe we should allow the government to limit what two consenting adults can do with each other. I also don't believe that we have the right to force our values on others. We can share our religions and values, try to convert others...but we can't force them.
Yes, Lin is a lawyer. However, I dont believe he specializes in these types of lawsuits. His specialty seems to be knowing the right people to get involved in the actual legal work and bring the public onto his clients side. Could be wrong, but thats how I see it.
"Removed with community styling and almost nobody will turn off that option in order to downvote submissions."
Post already says it can be turned off but either nobody is willing to turn it off or nobody knows its an option. I know I didn't know till so.eone told me.
I saw so.ething earlier here on TDW from someone who was actually watching the hearing. Of course I cant find it now. The only news source I've found even mentioning it is here:
Take it for what you will. We'll see what actually happens in the days to come.
That would be great...for people who live in areas large enough to support small businesses. I live in a small border town with very few small shops. Pretty much the only options without driving 2 hours to Tucson are Walmart, Target and Amazon. Just something to think about.
They're getting away with this by designating a certain number of beds for Chyna flu patients, say 5 out of the 100 beds they have open. Then 4 Chyna flu patients are hospitalized and OMG they're almost out of beds. Forget that they have 95 more beds available.
You know, I honestly don't care about the source, just post an archive link. Yes, Fox has fucked up, and I will NEVER trust them again. That doesn't mean everything said their is to be ignored. At the very least it can be a starting point for verification.
Yes...and no.
Yes, we ban non-Trump supporters because we have previously welcomed them into our areas and then been pushed out of them. We're drawing a line that this is our area and we are staying. We've set this not as a place to discuss viewpoints with the left, but to support ourselves in one of the last places available to us.
No, because we are almost all exposed to left wing views in our own daily forays through the internet, and many of them are posted here. We look at them and then refute them here.
Not everyone has time to read all of that, and asking a simple question shouldn't be greeted with hostility. Understanding what all of these cases and their importance is convoluted at best. Let's not be like the other side and ridicule people for honest questions.
I'm weak on legalese, but this is Texas saying its residents are being harmed, and its interests as a state are being harmed, by the unconstitutional actions of the other states in the election. They name several different ways this harm is happening, etc, but that is the basic premise.
This is good for us because it puts those states in a contested state, and gets the case directly before the Supreme Court.
What are the chances anything good will come of this? I just don't know. I'm very hopeful. I agree with everything being claimed as harm and feel the defense was...inadequate at best and an indirect admission that fraud exists at worst.
I dont have exact links but reports came out that the AP fudged what he said. Basically he said that their investigations TO THIS POINT have not found large scale fraud. They are still gathering evidence and investigating. They are only just starting to get into the stuff found by ppl here, from the Trump team, etc.
Barr also attended a long meeting with Pres. Trump and I guess Trump tweeted in support of Barr after that.
These children need to be building their immune systems. We are going to have a generation of immunocompromised children because of this. As it is we are co.promising our own immune systems with this mask nonsense. Whenever possible DO NOT WEAR A MASK!!
So, what have you heard/seen regarding female sterilization from the vaccine? I've read it does something that prevents the placenta from forming, is that correct?
