All of this is complete bullshit. Just a few weeks ago this man donated $5 million to the COVID relief fund in a majority black city. He has also donated millions more to schools, parks, and hospitals in the city. For other athletes who haven't done a fraction of the good he's done to come out and say that he's "part of the problem" is absolutely fucking disgusting.
I love how we're all being told that we need a conversation and that we just need to listen. Just sit down, be quiet, and listen. No. In the real world, a conversation is a two way street. They don't want an actual conversation. They just want everyone on their side and if you're not on their side you're racist, you're ignorant, etc. No. I just have the facts and I'm not lockstepping with your bullshit.
I loved Drew Brees before this, and I'm even more in love with him now. I have so much respect for him standing firm in his belief and not backing down. I'll never not wear a Drew Brees jersey.
