The issue is that you are using existing percentages when calculating what the remaining votes will be. The existing percents are skewed to early and early mail in ballots. The ballots remaining to count are skewed towards in person votes. As Trump voters are more likely to vote in person, you are going to introduce bias in your estimated values by using this method.

The Arizona Attorney General sent a letter to Maricopa County today about complaints regarding polling stations providing Sharpies to voters.

I do not know if the Sharpie ballots will go through the machines, but the above image is an official AZ ballot filled out with a Sharpie.

What makes you think she didn't get like 13 votes? Corrupt politician and all...

This, like everything else election related, varies from state to state. In New York, MAGA hats are a go. In Mississippi, they are banned. Google whether you can wear MAGA in your local state.

The real question is who.drew the short straw and has to sit in the fire ring.

I think we can come together as a country and agree that we don't need high capacity abortion clinics. More than ten abortions and people might die.

If anything bad psychologically has ever happened to you in your life, you qualify under the PTSD qualification. If you have ever injured yourself and have even MINOR pain in part of your body, you qualify under the Chronic Pain qualification. I'm assuming you smoke or like edibles based on your advocacy of this issue, if not I apologize. Have you not even explored an MMJ card?

As far as being out of touch with reality, I'm not going to 'lose old man.' I fully expect Prop 207 to pass. But this is being done in the most hamfisted way and will result in the consumers being losers and the state and industry lobbyists being winners. That is why I'm voting no on 207.

208 (the Red For Ed Proposition) would certainly do that. It will make AZ the 5th highest income tax state in the country.

Ah yes the old ad-hominum attack when you have no way to refute the arguments. Enjoy your 16% excise tax. It would have been much cheaper for you in the long run to just get your MMJ card. You don't have to lie either. There are a ton of psychological and physical conditions which a doctor would certify. But if you are the pinnacle of human health I guess 207 is right for you

Oh and the icing on the cake, this is a 'citizen' proposition, so the 16% excise tax on top of state and local income taxes for recreational MJ cannot be easily undone by the state legislature. Yay on higher taxes and bigger government!

It's absolutely true. It is legal to smoke weed in AZ if you are so inclined, and AZ actually has the largest MMJ market in the entire country. Open up the yellow pages and you can get your card in an afternoon. There are dispensaries everywhere. So what 'freedom' am I hurting by voting no on 207?

Weed prices will go up from what they are now. MMJ is not overtaxed in AZ right now, but recreational weed will be (that's how they sell it to non-smokers... Imagine all the help to schools!)

So if you want higher prices at the cost of lower barrier to entry, meaning more smokers, higher industry profits, and bigger government, vote yes on 207!

So weird how the black market in California now eclipses the legal market. Who would've thought that over taxation and overregulation wouldn't work?

Medical MMJ is already working in AZ, as it is now America's largest MMJ market. No way I'm voting for 207.

You are already free to legally smoke weed in AZ. But if you want bigger government and out of state interests in AZ then you be you.

ImWithHurrDurr 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is easy and fast to get a MMJ card in AZ, and there are dispensaries everywhere. Anyone who wants to legally smoke already can in AZ, so why pass a bill that leads to bigger government and bigger industry control? The Proposition is a poison pill written by the corporate lobbies from CA and CO.

Research what happened to the small MMJ dispensaries in CA and CO and consider who is benefitting from 207 before voting Yes.

Californians are already snapping up the nice homes for sale in my market. I don't think it will BRING more Calis to the state, but it will certainly remove a barrier from a lot of people who otherwise would not come. The writing is already on the wall, CA's failed policies are going to bleed into Arizona. Voting Yes on either initiative will only accelerate it.

ImWithHurrDurr 1 point ago +1 / -0

Also, do some research on what happened in CO and CA before voting for 207. The Proposition was WRITTEN by the big MJ Industry from those states.

ImWithHurrDurr 3 points ago +3 / -0

It will make Arizona have the 5th highest state income tax out of 50 states. Full stop. If 208 passes I will literally be moving out of AZ (and this isn't some move to Canada social media bullshit. I will literally be moving out, 100%.)

The marijuana initiative was put on the ballot by the big California MJ Industry, and it favors out of state interests heavily. It is not a citizen proposition. Vote No until Arizonans put a real citizen initiative on the ballot

ImWithHurrDurr 2 points ago +2 / -0

The proposition was written by the Big Marijuana Industry. It's not a grass roots thing.

Imagine living in a state where tobacco was illegal and then trusting Phillip Morris to write your tobacco laws.

I'm voting against it.

I'm not sure where on the return you would list the location of a bank account, so I'll go low energy and assume a 1099-DIV. If so, listing it is the proper and legal thing to do. Hence there is no effort to hide this. Also, I'm assuming Trump has business accounts in most countries he does business in. So what is the scandal here?
