Was trying to figure out why Gabe Newell was dressed up like santa.

I teach my kid that it does hurt to rip a bandaid off, but at the same time, it needs to get done because if you leave it on there, it will only get worse.

Well, this has been his life. He's been signing international deals and managing countless businesses since he was in his 20's. The guy doesn't know anything else.

Here's the best way to shut up anyone barking about immediate action needing to be taken to combat climate change. Ask them what they are doing to promote nuclear power. Nuclear power SOLVES the problems they are projecting as catastrophic. It doesn't just solve the problem, it solves it BETTER than solar and wind. Nuclear has the least impact on the overall environment than any other energy source.

So, when people talk about solar and wind being the solution, ask them who is getting paid for that because we already have a solution.

My 3 year old hasn't been able to see kids his own age in months. All of the normal summer programs that we put our older son into when he was 3 were cancelled. Pre-school was cancelled until about a month ago and we begged them not to close back down after Fat Boy Pritkzer shut the state down again. Even the playgrounds were closed off.

We were able to keep my older son in baseball and we got to take my 3 year old to the baseball game where there was another kid there his age. For that hour, those two played and played and played. The kid lived hours away and so we had no chance of meeting up again with the random family.

For the next two weeks, all my 3 year old talked about was the new friend that he made. He would pick up toys and say "I can't wait to show this to my new friend". It was so disheartening listening to him say that but it was so much worse when he stopped talking about his new friend. We didn't tell him that it was impossible to see the other boy again. Our 3 year old figured it out on his own and it has been a struggle to keep him excited.

Right now, we're thankful that he has an older brother. We're thankful that we have family, friends and neighbors who we can visit with, play with and allow our children to socially interact with even if it's only scratching the surface of what they need as part of their development.

A report came out in Illinois saying which counties would be getting the vaccine first. Some mouth breathers were saying it was all the counties that were ignoring mask mandates and going out to bars. Here's the problem though, when you actually look at the data, the average age in those counties was significantly higher than those in the counties not getting the virus. Given that information, it makes logical sense that they would have higher COVID deaths. But hey, that's just looking at facts and using logic.

What makes you think it's being used carelessly? You should understand the power of words and wielding that power can either come with a whimper or with the ability to move mountains.

A moral person doesn't fear using a word. A moral person can stand before god and allow themselves to be judged. Their righteousness will not be determined by a word they used but by the empowerment of their voice, their message and their action.

If you are more caught up with her using a specific word than you are of the specific message she is conveying, then you need to reevaluate your priorities because you are out of alignment.

We are being faced with a lot of misinformation and a lot of fear mongering. The idea of leadership and "doing something" is to shut down the fearmongering and speculation before too many idiots (liberals) get sucked up into it.

This type of violence is exactly what you get when you call liberals "annoying" rather than a violent mob. Why are you not demanding that the police take action on the people who are deliberately blocking traffic? Why is that not what you are focusing on here? We can't hope to accomplish anything is people like you push that we have to play by THEIR rules.

Mask compliance is the highest it's ever been. It's almost like there are other factors that are more pertinent to the spread of the virus.

Not sure on the whole "Trumpsvaccine" thing but definitely corruption when information is being withheld on something as important as this for political reasons.

It is quite possible that someone who registered to vote 40 years ago, does not have their birthdate in the system if they’ve never moved.

Voter registration is updated regularly, not only when you move.

No, we shouldn't stop with this one or any of these. 1/1/1900 does mean that the date is empty but you are making an assumption on WHY it's empty and that assumption isn't conclusive.

Get answers, don't make assumptions.

It could be that it's people who didn't enter their DOB on their same day votes. It also could be an insert happening from a external database to inject additional voters and votes. Information should be validated before conclusions are drawn about it.

1/1/1900 is the value that gets entered to a database when there is no data provided. If I run an insert statement on a database and I don't provide the date information for the DOB field, it will go in as 1/1/1900 or it will go in as null. In any scenario, this shows problems with the validity of the data and it would be necessary to check where the source of the data was because odds are, if it's widescale fraud, then we could link it back to a specific source for that data.

It actually doesn't tell us one way or the other. To say it's evidence of sloppy entry is not conclusive.

There are 3 questions that need to be asked here:

  1. Is the person real, alive and capable of voting.
  2. Did the person actually submit the vote.
  3. Where did the data for that vote come from such that it was not entered correctly but allowed.

All 3 of those answers are necessary to know whether or not it was fraud or a data entry error. Without that information, drawing any conclusions is wrong.

Apparently the problem here is that Trump didn't start any new wars and being in a war gets your reelected.

Hey guys, remember when Obama and the CDC told the hospitals to stop reporting the number of new cases of H1N1 in the middle of the pandemic and without a vaccine?

I see it as a win/win. If they don't see the flaw in the representation then they realize the impact of masks. If they do see the flaw in the representation, then you transition into saying how we're issuing further lockdowns because of rises in cases which they just said was caused by an increase in testing, not spread.

Pro-military and anti-war, just how it should be.
