Lord knows the Democrats love to use a good slandering of a candidate's character, especially surrounding an election.
What if the DNC wants Biden gone and figures this is one avenue they have to use in an effort to get him to step down or something? Could help open the way for them to put in another candidate.
Not very credible, just thinking out loud frens :)
As a relative newcomer in keeping up with politics (thank you GEOTUS!) has there ever been an extended period of time in the US where we were NOT spoon-fed firehose-fed by the media that some new something demanded our collective attention? Our money? Our sacrifice?
Because over the last few years it seems like there has always been something allegedly tragic floating up in the air keeping us from simply taking a live-and-let-live hands-off approach to concern-trolling across the entire globe.
Has it always been this way?
A seemingly internal struggle within the US between those that want to worry-wart over every little thing (OMG the endangered species! OMG the starving children! OMG the health of earth! etc) vs those who would rather sit back and say, "Hey, if that matters to you, then go for it! But quit trying to coerce all of us into supporting the endeavors that YOU find to be important. Quit trying to rain on our parades here, we have a lot to be thankful for and to appreciate in life. You do you."
I suspect the rise of the 24/7 news cycle is partly to blame for this, but with things like Project Mockingbird, etc, I have a hard time absolving many of the higher-ups (whatever that means) from at least some responsibility in how it has panned out.
Any mostly grey-haired pedes here that can chime in on times of yore as a means of comparison?
Patient: I don't wanna die, please! Is there anything more you can do!?!?!
Doctor: Well, there is a drug mix we can administer that has a 99%+ success rate...
Fauci: Excuse me, no. There's a chance the patient may feel sad after receiving the drug. It needs at least another year of testing.
Birx: Now, please hold still while I hook you up to a ventilator. This will likely cause permanent damage to your throat and lungs and it has a horrible success rate.
Patient: WTF?!?!?!
Why so many masks? Does the medical field need that many? When they can be decontaminated and re-used?
Something's not right here...
