Obama outlined it in his farewell address. He said people give the power to the constitution, which is wrong. He basically said, get rid of the desire, and it goes away. He wanted to get rid of that document in the worse possible way.
Some think this is so she has no reigns on, she is independent of a party, which allows her to do whatever she needs to do. It is one of many theories, but it seems plausible. Seeing how the GOP hasn't done much to back Trump up (look at the Georgia governor), there could be GOP members that were a part of this too.
Look at Lyndsey Graham, he was against Trump. Marco Rubio etc etc. There are plenty.

Trump did sign that EO in September of 2018. That is almost two years to the day before election 2020. He knew something, and likely did that as he knew something would come about. When Trump challenged China, they played the game with the virus, the dems used it to fraud the system as they used fear, and played the American people as being dumb, and just a bunch of lemmings. I hear you. I know of a few "family" members, I put family in quote as its my GF's family. They hated Trump, and I really don't like hearing someone who HATES Trump and they are religious, complete contradiction. Just not sure how much I can keep to myself, and ignore it.
