I honestly don't see the problem with the officers' actions. She resisted arrest and tried to pull free. They used reasonable force to make her comply.

Her health is supposedly not good enough to be in office or she would have been in the primaries. She is a puppet master, hiding in the shadows, picking Kamala for VP along with the rest of the establishment.

Since it is a party nomination, the party can make up whatever "rules" it wants and select anyone to run. Harris was not picked for VP by Biden. She was the pick of the establishment. The establishment gets what the establishment wants, regardless of how people voted in the primaries.

If you want a powerful free image editor, go to getpaint.net. It offers some of the features of PhotoShop and supports user-made plugins to add more features.

The most important features you will need to learn how to use are image layers, transparency, and the magic wand selection tool. Mastering those will allow you to do things like adding Biden's head to a Pedobear in a Scooby meme about unmasking the villain. See my submission history for other memes I've made with that program.

I tried a reverse image search to find out who this guy is since I don't know the story (other than riots happened in Chicago over the weekend). Google told me this was an assault rifle. Sad.

Peaceful protesters should be met with peaceful car bumpers.

Are we supposed to recognize those symbols? I'm sure the text on the bottom left image might be helpful, you shrank it down too much.

A Democrat would ignore the limits of their powers and enact executive orders which have the power of legislation. After the supreme court refused to strike down Obama's executive order on DACA, Trump seems to have gotten frustrated with them. He seems to be making executive orders which would arguably be beyond the power of the executive branch.

My theory is he is doing it as a chess move. The more he pushes the limits of his power, the more likely it will be challenged at the supreme court. If it reaches supreme court arguments, he can assert his power is as valid as Obama's, forcing them to overturn DACA if they want to overturn Trump's orders.

Thanks. That appears to be an estimate, while the numbers published on Wikipedia are only confirmed cases.

InarosPrime 1 point ago +1 / -0

Where do those numbers come from? Wikipedia entries for H1N1 show much fewer cases, though I don't doubt someone has fudged the numbers to look as good as possible for Obama.

There is a lot of confusion because people haven't read the text of the order. It basically says all transactions defined by the Secretary of Commerce will be prohibited. The Secretary will define those on September 20th.

1
InarosPrime 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nothing happened to Tencent yet. The executive order prohibits transactions yet to be determined. We won't know what the prohibited transactions are until the Secretary of Commerce defines them on September 20th, per the order.

3
InarosPrime 3 points ago +3 / -0

The text of the executive order prohibits transactions with Tencent, but does not define which transactions. Instead, it gives the Secretary of Commerce 45 days to define which transactions will be prohibited. In other words, the executive order does nothing for now, and we won't know what will be prohibited until September 20th.

From the full text of the executive order (currently viewable on whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-addressing-threat-posed-wechat/)

The following actions shall be prohibited beginning 45 days after the date of this order, to the extent permitted under applicable law: any transaction that is related to WeChat by any person, or with respect to any property, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, with Tencent Holdings Ltd. (a.k.a. Téngxùn Kònggǔ Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī), Shenzhen, China, or any subsidiary of that entity...

Nobody can do business with Tencent without violating that order.

Edit: I might be wrong. Further in the order:

45 days after the date of this order, the Secretary shall identify the transactions subject to subsection (a) of this section

FYI, the video doesn't quite work on this site because it gets shoved into a letterbox frame when you filmed it in portrait. For those wanting to see the video, the direct link might help.

This is clearly photoshopped. What are you hiding? Mike's sausage?
