You, we, America - what can we not do when our minds and spirits are right? We can do ANYTHING we can imagine. Cure viruses. Disprove lies. Rebuild even stronger from every attack.
We are just barely scratching the surface of what we can accomplish as we pivot out of disaster mitigation and switch to conquest mode. What will YOU envision for your country?

Is this kind of thing too easily rigged/cheated/swayed/manipulated? Violates privacy or invasive?
Nationalize Facebook and turn it into the voter ID system. Voting still goes in person at ballot for major elections. But you have an online system for votes on every action of the governor, state, feds, county, etc. You can comment and vote on the public listing for the public laws/decisions.
What's so bad about direct democracy? Could it be done? Wouldn't people who actually wanted a popular vote want this instead of electoral college abolishment?
Could allow for voting on all these stupid illegal issues, shutdowns, masks - for better or worse at least we know what the people actually voted on!
Would we get outvoted by lazy leftists because we're busier? Doesn't everybody time per day to log a vote or read about it? How busy can you be to neglect your citizen's duty to participate in government?
What's the downside of a national voter ID to implement more direct democracy? Let the people vote. Could set the system up to have livestreams of every town council meeting. Make government more accessible to the voters.
Could we not build such a system or is everything logged via computer vote inherently unreliable?
In nationalizing facebook it has an added bonus of closing all the privacy violations and chinese backdoors to facebook.
For the record I prefer a strict Republic and paper ballots.
