I've been living in a rental house in the ghetto and saving for 2 years to buy a house in a safer neighborhood for my kids. Lost my job last Friday, and looks like my savings will likely go to rent and bills until the market opens back up and I can get a new job. I won't be able to secure a loan with 0 years at a new job.
- Bank doesn't get a loan
- Real estate agents don't get commission
- Lowes doesn't get sales from paint, appliances, etc.
- Furniture store doesn't get sales
I start over again at 0, which is better than alot of people who don't have thousands in savings. All because of a contrived flu panic.
