Somebody needs to quickly come up with a way for us all to owe $10k in student loans, in a way that gets that $10k refunded to us as cash.

But if it were "free" then everyone would have equal access! It's not like racism would play a part in admissions.

...oh, wait...

NH voter here. One of our US senators wasn't up for reelection, and the other one (D) was running against a Republican who couldn't string together a coherent sentence to save his life. I voted for the Libertarian candidate, dude was smart as fuck and got like 3% of the vote. Two party system is fucked.

I could believe Trump lost in NH, even though it's right leaning. There's enough of a brainwashed idiot exchange with the other New England states that the "orange man bad" view is pervasive even upstate.

I did not, however, expect voter fraud in my state. We don't really have a Milwaukee or a Detroit, you know? Will be very, very interested to see what comes of this. They're saying they're barred by law from doing a second hand recount, and they aren't sure whether the recount was done improperly or the machines were wrong. AG at least appears very motivated to investigate.

I try to avoid ringing the child molestation bell on this guy just because his conviction date of 2002 and his age of 36 at time of death means he was 18 when he had sexual contact with a minor.

The real reason he deserved to get his shit fucked up is because at age 36, he assaulted a 17 year old named Kyle.

The problem of having lying career politicians among our ranks does not go away with a third party. If we gather any momentum at all, they'll come crawling out of the woodwork to ride on our coattails.

Making ourselves into a third party is such a bad idea that I honestly think it would be better for us to start a moderate LEFT party just to pull voters away from the Democrats and ensure they can't win any more. That leaves the problem of cleaning house in the Republican party, but at least we already have our foot in the door...

Why? There's no reason to dump. The short sellers are on the hook for more shares than are even tradeable on the market. They can't close their positions even if we let them buy, and we won't. Supply is extremely short. We can drive the price up to any level we want, and they're totally fucked. The shorts are facing infinite risk, a loss not just of all their collateral, but legal claims against anything else they own. For this privileged position, they're paying tremendous interest on the value of their borrowed shares. Lastly, I haven't risked anything I can't afford to lose, and neither have most of us long positions. Why would we sell at such an opportune moment? ;)

All I need to do is wait. Time is very much on the side of the squeezers.

First things I noticed are no masks and it was filmed on an absolute potato of a phone, probably circa 2008 phone. someone on WSB confirmed it's from 2017 at the latest, they posted a link but I can't bothered to go find it again

The way we know it won't pass is because it isn't 5000+ pages long. They're phoning it in just to make a statement. They put as much effort into this bill as I did a typical college paper.

This very much depends on how they're making the adjustment. They are more than likely tracking a tally separately from the data on each individual's likes, and the tally is what's displayed. The reason for doing it this way is performance - it wouldn't make sense to go count up all the votes again every time they show a video to somebody, so instead they show the tally. It's entirely possible that all they do is tack a modifier onto the tally, or adjust the tally itself. But that adjustment could also be reversible if the number of dislikes decreases. They may not have that much foresight, it's entirely possible it could go negative.

The most important thing he could've said, he didn't say. He alluded to all the dangers of improperly exercising our 5th amendment rights, but didn't actually say what those dangers are or how to avoid them. I know we can't just remain silent (even though we supposedly have that right), we have to actually invoke the right. That little gem came out of Salinas v. Texas back in 2013. I believe the suspect in question remained silent, and police used that as direct evidence of guilt, saying "He hesitated when we asked him this question." What other pitfalls are there though?

Will be interesting to see how to they tax Satoshi on his gains, considering nobody knows who he is, or whether he still lives, or (if alive) whether he still controls the keys.

Millions of pissed off patriots with no voice because we've been shut out from having our own platforms, and silenced on those platforms allowed by The Party. Great.

I'm sorry to say it doesn't. This is just the next level of censorship - the one they haven't reached yet. Could happen at any moment.

Hey look, someone's talking about me! I donated to Bernie in the primaries and voted Trump in the general election.

edit: 2016 primary, before all the talk of a wealth tax made me think twice

Even if Parler moves to new servers, guess who controls the Public DNS servers everyone relies on to be able to connect to the new server? If Parler.com doesn't resolve to an IP address, nobody can visit. Truly, three companies control all electronic communications in the modern age. We should have broken them up long ago.

The rope being sufficient to guide them is symbolic of how easily manipulated they all were into this trap. Face it, deep state is genius, they won public perception over completely, having fired a single shot.
