Can someone explain to me why this is something we are celebrating as a win? If Trump doesn't manage to get his much deserved second term, which is almost certainly the case at this point, how does a SECOND impeachment help the optics of our cause? The history books are written by the winners and it appears the Dems are going to be the ones writing history for the foreseeable future. Can y'all bear with me and do a thought experiment here? If we go by what the MSM and non-redpilled normies all think happened, from the perspective of the masses, our president has: -Lost the popular vote in 2016 -POSSIBLY colluded with a foreign enemy to rig the 2016 election (as the cuck Mueller wrote that he can't exonerate the president) -Lost the House in 2018 -Was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in 2018 -Contributed to the deaths of almost 400 thousand Americans through neglect regarding COVID-19 response -Lost the presidency in record numbers in 2020 -Lost the Senate in 2021, leading to a trifecta for the Dems -Led an insurrection on the Capitol building that resulted in the first breach of our beloved Capitol since the war of 1812 via domestic terrorists -Was then impeached for inciting said insurrection in 2021, becoming the first president in history to be impeached twice and only in his first term -Every other horrible thing the Dems and RINOs have dragged his name through the mud about
Now remember, we are viewing this from the lense of the general public and (barring future gains for our cause) through the lens of history. HOW does this not appear to be anything other than a complete disaster and one of the largest betrayals of office in the history of the United States? We need to gain numbers to our cause, not alienate potential new members. I know many people who like Trump's policies, but could never support him, at least not publicly that I know of, due to all of these LIES, but nonetheless lies that the general public and world at large believe.
Why are we celebrating this? How does this help our cause in the long run? How does this help Donald and his family?
Not trying to be a doomer, but we need to start swallowing our pride and fears and begin registering Democrat en-masse so we can slowly slip our ideals into the party. Dems will never work with Republicans, but they WILL listen to each other; just look at how broad their party tent is. If we can get more high ranking people into the party like Tulsi Gabbard, but in larger numbers, we can create our own wing of the Dem party, like how progs have their own wing. However, this would need to start on a small scale first. Infiltrate them from within.
Call me a pessimist but all I'm seeing here is that the riot lost us supporters, no?
