As for my background I was raised Lutheran and at church every weekend. As I got older i began to question what I was being told and I was always a good student in math and science. I have a master's degree in Mechanical engineering and I worked for NASA for a while before realizing the money was better and bureaucracy was less developed in the private sector. I can accept the word "God" to mean something people look up to or an all knowing all seeing deity. To me I accept God to mean the laws of science which are either made by this all knowing deity or just by the universe itself. Basically I accept god to be a larger and unwavering force that is over our heads.

I'm an atheist and I have no problem saying under god. The change is from the left only and it is to chip away at what America is and what it stands for.

As a libertarian I have always thought we could never go head to head with the republican party. Any time we did we would divide votes and the election would always go to the far left Democrats.

Well I agree I'm a bit of a redneck but I also run everyday and have a master's degree in mechanical engineering. I was also able to pay off my student loans within 4 years of graduating.
