Up here in Michigan today I picked up a load and the BoLs came with a letter stating I have permission to be on the road. Also Tyson and a few other customers have implemented a rule that we truckers have to get our temp taken before we are allowed on premises. Strange times
No it’s not true. I’m a refrigerated hauler and most of what I’ve been hauling is Tyson meat and vegetables. Other drivers I’ve spoke with, some dry loads and some refrigerated, have said they are doing business as usual. Don’t panic, the shelves with get restocked. Now I have noticed that certain truck stops are closing dine in areas and closing the drivers lounges. The parking at night isn’t as full as it was 3 weeks ago but that’s to expect if some of the owner operators are staying home with their family. It’s just hype, the negative kind but hype nevertheless
