I come from a Republican stronghold in California that recently turned blue in 2018. We all got a little complacent having a 30 year incumbent running for office (Dana Rohrabacher). For some reason my brother decided to check his voter status at https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov/ ; he found that he voted in the 2018 Primary and General election, though he says he hasn't actually voted since 2016 (first and last time). Thought that was strange so I checked my own vote where I voted in the 2018 General but not the Primary. The website says i voted in both General and Primary. I decided to check my parents who haven't voted since 2016, it says they both voted in the 2018 General and Primary. Whats even more strange is it says my father went and voted in person for the 2020 primary in a city 30 minutes inland.
