Fellow patriots, it is with a heavy heart that I must retreat from going to the front lines for I have come down with the Covid and will most likely not make it out of this one (may know for sure by Monday test result). I have blood disorders that would greatly complicate my survival chances under Covid.
From the beginning I knew that going to DC on the 6th was a death sentence for me because of either catching Covid or because I wouldn't of left until my country was safe and free again. But I need to worry more on the cause and at the least not be a burden/stumbling block to my fellow patriots.
Give em hell for me and know that I'll be doing my best to keep up with events and pray for y'all. If it turns out a false alarm or I make it through know that I'll be joining asap at my closest contact point.
Godspeed brethren, and if for nothing else do it for posterity.
Update :
Good news brothers and sister Pedes! I'm alive and on the other side of this medical scare. All the members of my family core (including me) have received a (-) Covid diagnosis and are on the mend. My fever maxed out at 103 before it started coming down in the morning and it didn't require for me to go to the ER. Yes, I realize that this means I get a (+) diagnosis for being a big pussy but I was acting on an abundance of caution.
Sadly I lost my spot in my group (which is already on their way to DC) but at the moment I'm prepping to come up on my own to do a supply and tools re-supply to my group and whomever may need it as long as I have some available. Thank you all for your well wishes, encouragement, & advice on sourcing stuff. Very helpful and now I have a self care "med kit".
As to what happened, not sure. Doctors these day don't seem to give a rats on anything else that's not Covid. We probably got a cold or a mild flu. I'm still weak and on the mend but I should be able to travel safely in a day or two. About my genetic disorders I won't mention anything about them because they're rare enough that saying anything about them may be too much info shared.
Or will we fight back as they try to put shackles around our necks and hands? Are you hoping that they will be light and comfortable ones? Is this what our generation of free people will be known for? The last of the free people who just idly sat and watched as that which came at a great price was destroyed and taken away? If not for ourselves, at least do something for posterity.
It's time to start organizing.
