We need to find a way to get republican poll workers in key Democrat counties. We need witnesses who can testify to fuckery on the stand.

But guess who's going to be plastered over the news for the next couple weeks...

It's supposed to be that way. Being president should be a public service and personal sacrifice, not a career move that you get rich off of.

Could this also be generic watermarking by the printer? It's said that many printers have hidden watermarks to help secret service track threats and counterfeiting.

They update at the top of the hour, new numbers expected, assuming no further delay.

Ya, but at this same time when Trump pulls this out there will be many REEEEEEEE'S that will be REEEEEEEEd. A decisive victory would have limited that salt that will flow, by dragging it out it'll be that much more painful.

Hopefully he doesn't drop the cases once he wins, these people need to be prosecuted or it'll just happen worse next year.

They are our life boat.

Well, the actual answer is that the first reporting are the votes counted electronically, so it's just a question of collecting the flash drives and aggregating results. The rest are things that have to be manually processed. That's also where the fuckery comes in.

It's better that they don't release it, let the liberal media discover it slowly as final totals roll in. I want them to be in a middle of a story about the Biden transition process when a producer interrupts them with an upset. If Trump announces it their eyes will be seething with hate, but I want to see them full of cautious hope so I can see it drain from their eyes as the realization sets in.

Are these counted separately? I thought they're sent and counted along with any other absentee ballot for their home county. Normally those are counted last as they're rarely deciding a result, but this year that's obviously different and are part of the normal totals.

I believe this is incompetence and the only reason they didn't undo it last night is to save face.

Not much to say, he made it clear he's challenging the fuckery, it's just a question as to how critical the recounts are at this point.

Lol, the official websites will take days to reflect the outcome. Just remember that the state count isn't official until the state certifies it, and the election isn't final until a joint session of Congress accepts the results.

It just means more salt will flow when the states fail to certify his win. Only a joint session of Congress in January can declare a winner, everything else is unofficial.

Is there anything left to burn in Portland?

I doubt I know any more than you, last I heard it was as it was expected, lead narrowed but not enough for a Biden win. Trump's lead was never expected to stay as large as it was, is just a question of if it'll be enough.

It happens every few elections, but it's pretty embarrassing for them so they have been careful recently. None of them want to be the station that got it wrong.

Hopefully it's accurate. The news sites are updated through the night but constantly checking with counties and can possibly have errors, results are not official until the state certifies the results.

You forgot to count the ballots we just found in this unguarded u-haul. Totally legit, we're just trying to count all the votes.

We don't elect a president, we elect a slate of electors to represent the state. Technically there's no requirement that we have a state election for electors, the state can just appoint them, but in practice all states now elect them. The number of electors is the number of representatives in the house plus Senate for the state, so the proportion is the same representation as in government. There's some federal guidelines but states have pretty broad liberty to run elections as they choose, that's why there's so much shady shit. In December the electors meet in their state capitol and cast ballots that are sent in. They cast one ballot for president and one ballot for vice president. They can elect who they want, but are generally faithful to who they pledge to represent and some states have penalties if they don't, and that's also legal. Then in January Congress meets in a joint session, reads the votes and can challenge them, but this is rare, then they certify results and we have a president elect. If no majority is received, currently 270, then the house elects the president from the top three contenders (based on electoral votes) casting one vote per state delegation and the Senate elects the vice president based on the top two contenders.

If it's the sharpie issue they may have had to update guidence and retrain.

The longer it takes to flip, the more salt there will be to mine.

Itype33 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean, ya, but that would require Republicans voting for Biden, not going to happen.

Do we even need Nevada if we get arizona? It'd be nice, but at this time I'd take anything to keep Biden out of office
