From the article:

The Nixon haters said that they were vindicated when Nixon’s presidency and Nixon himself fell apart: This is the guy we knew he was all along, they said.

But others wondered if the hate had changed him. With fewer defeats and fewer enemies, might he have gotten to be a better man instead of a worse one?

One cannot help but wonder about Trump: If he had been given a chance, would he have gotten better instead of worse?

A chance. To his followers, the vast majority of whom are peaceful and law-abiding, Trump was never given a chance to govern. The major pillars of the political culture, including most of the press, went to work on sinking the Trump presidency from the day of his election.

Of course, as with Nixon, many Trump haters, and Never Trumpers (mostly solid Republicans) will say: We were right all along. The character flaws and ignorance of our system and its norms, written and unwritten, were there for all to see.

But the question now is whether Joe Biden will be given a chance.

No, we should treat him exactly how the left treated President Trump.

While the loss of life is tragic, the loss of confidence in election integrity is far more damaging in the long term. We know the whole thing is a farce now, and an "audit" nearly 3 months after the election won't placate anyone here unless it leads to real results. I'm not holding my breath.

I can already see the CNN articles: these racist violent extemist white supremacist domestic terrorists are so evil, they're literally killing black trans people by hurting their feelings! REEEEEEEEEEE

How do you pop the bubble? Mainstream media is the propaganda arm of the DNC and most normies only remember the first description of any reported event. I've never even heard of "fake news" before 2016, but turns out a vast majority of MSM reporting has been fake for decades.

Fake news spreads faster and hardly anyone sees retractions.

Once you add censorship to the mix, the narrative is even more one-sided.

It's become clear that we have a lot of RINOs in Congress.

The dems are right about one thing: the GOP does not represent the people. It represents corporate interests and crony capitalism, and they'll gladly sell us out for profit. We need a conservative party that actually represents We the People.

Underrated comment. It also speaks volumes that he's not afraid to express these hateful views to a complete stranger, while conservatives are forced to self-moderate.

The leftist brainwashing is so pervasive, that most of his peers wouldn't bat an eye when hearing his words. They're all convinced they're making the world better.

Bezmenov was right all along.

Winning the ghetto lottery offers much better returns than a life insurance policy. I'm convinced many of them do it on purpose.
