As far as the ultimate goal for introducing a true uniparty in the US, it didn’t matter if McCain or Obama won in 2008. Two paths toward the same destination.
That’s why I think his strategy will go along with the vaccine. Ii might even be a complete placebo, but I anticipate a vaccine coming just after the election that Trump will to use to justify being rid of covid without sounding hypocritical.
I think most shops have a clause to where your computer is fair game if you never come pick it up. I know laundromats do the same thing.
Are you sure it’s not as simple as she would fall in line with the agenda just like Biden would? They nominate those aligned with the agenda. I do think it’s that simple.
This is the 1,172nd most popular site in the US
Speed cameras are a step toward the surveillance state, and are there solely for city revenue with nothing to do with safety. I get what your saying but you shouldn’t have to ever live in fear of the government photographing you wherever you go for essentially no reason at all.
There’s 0 context for this
I see lots of people on social media talking about “just cause someone had a criminal record doesn’t mean they should be shot”, but frankly, most of these “innocent protesters” and martyrs turn out to be piles of steaming shit. Every single time it seems like. Everyone the media and ignorant SJWs try and hold up as a saint had a very good reason for being involved in the violence they were involved in. Cause they’re terrible people. The common denominator is that they were useless scumbags, through and through. The amount of time and effort wasted arguing for the sanctimonious status of these fucks is exhausting.
It gets exponentially harder to move up as your ranking increases.
This is very sound advice.
The shaver cop was looking for an excuse to kill somebody that day. I’m convinced only a complete sociopath could ever behave like that cop did. I don’t think Chauvin should have Used that knee hold for soo long (maybe a minute or two at most), but if Floyd didn’t take all those drugs and overdose, but instead was booked and processed, he likely wouldn’t have had any real injury. The knee thing just looked bad, I don’t think there’s evidence to really compare Chauvin and Shaver’s killer, cause I don’t think Chauvin wanted to kill anyone that day.
You could argue Chauvin was negligent to some extent but the guy that killed Shaver was malicious through and through.
I think the point here is that, ultimately, many poor people often take no steps to lift themselves up from poverty, and instead milk the existing support systems for all they have. They complain about the public housing, but then spend half of their disposable income on consumer goods, etc.
Cancelled amazon prime, I can wait the extra 2 days for my Chinese crap to get tossed on my doorstep. Won’t miss you either.
I thought the concern would be people filling out multiple ballots (filling out the name of their deceased 3rd uncle twice removed, etc) and stuffing the box. Absentee ballots are addressed to one particular person and the proposed mail-in system is a free for all up UNTIL they’re placed in the box where an election judge handles them as any other ballot. Please lmk if I’m missing something.
Hey y’all. I had the opportunity to help a professor model the election outcome in 2016. I had a full understanding of the methodology in place for these predictions. It was completely legit, and our team still had Trump with a sub 2% chance of winning for the month leading up to the election. The key factor was that ALL of these “% chance to win” models rely on a mixture of the same publicly available polling data, so if that’s not right, you can’t even begin to create an accurate model.
My point here is that the 538 website is probably doing their best, but nobody can get accurate polling data to input into the model. Models are only as good as their input data.
In a passing setting such as two patrons of a grocery store, there’s almost no chance for an asymptomatic carrier to spread the disease. The cited article suggests that 5-10 minutes of within 6 foot contact in a small room would be necessary for a real chance of spread to start. At that point it makes sense to start using masks. And then for employees of the store to use masks as they may be with a customer for minutes at a time. And at that point of prolonged interaction, it would then be reasonable for both parties to don their masks. Like when you’re with a bank teller for a half hour, go ahead and make the mask argument.
When I’m going in and out for a 6 pack of Busch Latte’s the chances of me infecting anyone in the store, mask or no mask, really are so close to 0 that it just doesn’t matter. They are security theater in most of their “new normal” use cases.
Here’s another
Look into asymptomatic transmission. That’s the cause of ALL the lockdowns. There’s no proof it is a real concern, rather there’s more evidence that it’s horseshit.
“If you’re sick, stay home” should have been the extent of official government policy on COVID.
Ding ding ding
That’s great. The way T_D describes the migrant situation in Europe is similar to how we assume that living in Chicago means you’re dodging bullets all day. It’s bad, and should be better, but it’s not beyond repair.
I don’t hear enough about asymptomatic transmission. Masks don’t work if you don’t even have the virus to begin with. I want to know if asymptomatic transmission is a real risk, because as far as I know, it is not.
I’m convinced Jeb was “supposed” to be the nominee and then lay down for Hillary. Or if he somehow did win, he would certainly do what he was told. Jeb and Hillary were the intended uniparty candidates.
