I realized this yesterday when Shopify deleted Trump's store. I actually have been working on my own platform to hopefully compete with Shopify one day, but then the thought hit me
If I wanted to host someone like Trump's store because I'm not a snowflake SJW liberal who can't tolerate other people's views, I would still be beholden to Amazon who could theoretically decide to pull my platform's hosting.
It's clear now that someone needs to take on the web hosting game with free speech.
Then vote out Mitch and other RINOs out.
I'm sorry but yes there are RINOs who suck and need to be gone, but the fact is if the Dems win the Senate we might not ever get to win it back again.
And by "We" I dont mean Republicans, I mean freedom loving Patriots.
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I 100% agree with you.
I want to be able to prove to my friends beyond a doubt there is a smoking gun, but if I can’t confirm where the source for the vote tabulation is from then it makes it tougher.
100%.
The responsible thing to do would be to wait, but they know that more than half the country thinks whatever they see on the media is true.
It's the same reason why people who believed in Russia for 3 years all of a sudden can't fathom the election was rigged this time. They can't fathom it because the media told them what to think.
I want an honest election. If Biden truly won, I'm capable of accepting a loss and moving on. This is a difficult concept for those on the left to grasp because they are willing to win by any means necessary, including cheating.
It doesn't occur to them that people on the other side for the most part would not be accepting of winning by cheating.
I'm biased in the sense that I do want Trump to win, but I am also objective enough to know that if the roles were reversed right now with everything we know that got us to this point, I wouldn't feel comfortable saying Trump won just yet had the shoe been on the other foot.
Meaning there is no objectionable way I can look at this data and say that 100% Joe Biden won just yet.
We shall see though. I'm not trying to get people's hopes up, I'm just sharing the comparison I see literally everyday with the stock market. I've been right about a lot of stocks when the media way saying the opposite.
Sorry for the long title, I don’t typically submit posts.
I figured this would be a good way for my own sanity to make sure people are at least aware of the story’s existence, but also be a way to nudge my friends about it’s existence if they would want to seek it on their own after.
I originally was going to make a long post/story about the whole thing but I decided I get annoyed when people post their politics, even though I know this should be a bipartisan issue.
The only downside to this was my cousin (very liberal) responded and we discussed it. The way she found out about it was framed in a way where it’s not enough evidence to cover it. I of course had to explain and provide evidence, but it was a red pill she didn’t want to swallow lol.
Edit: Had the other person who DM’d me who voted no but knew about it voted yes instead, it’d be 27 to 8 or 77% to 23%.
It won’t happen. I live here, and I’ve been seeing the rallies every weekend but at the end of the day I just don’t see how this state can be flipped red this election.
We’re on the brink of people waking up as more and more leave, but the TDS is too strong right now.
Just don’t want people to get their hopes up for something that really just isn’t going to happen this time around.
Obviously voting for him either way though.
Accepted the terms, but honestly it felt like extortion.
“Agree to delete this image we don’t like, and then you can have your account back”.
I’m a free market guy but these tech companies are making it tough. They need to be classified as publishers...
Saw one at my cousin’s apartment building.
Leftists have some indefensible ideas, but this one has to be near the top. We’re just going to pretend that we trust the Post Office now despite spending years shitting on them lol,
Some guy I’m not friends with from high school follows me on Instagram and every time I post something even semi political (like governor mandates are dumb or looting is bad), he’ll respond to my story arguing with me.
It got to the point that he called me a racist for being white, and then said “and by that, I am racist too”.
I explained “Well, I look at everyone as equals regardless of skin color. But if you don’t think that way, then I guess you’re a racist”.
Dude completely flipped out. He still responds but I just leave him on read now. There’s no point having an honest conversation with someone like this. I was willing to have a dialogue up until the point that he literally thinks being white makes me a racist. That’s never going to get us anywhere.
These people have brainwashed themselves. Considering he votes Democrat though, maybe he actually is racist...
The innovation to create it comes from the free market, something the government is incapable of making themselves.
Regardless of who is in office, the government is inept and it’s better to let a US company manage something as sophisticated as that.
In the hands of the government it would never be run or managed properly.
Okay with it? Yes. Happy? No.
But those are the rules and this how the game is played.
Did Obama wait to nominate someone after Scalia died? No. And I don’t think he should have waited. If they had a Dem senate at the time I wouldn’t have blamed them at all for getting someone in the seat. But America didn’t like the direction he was taking us in and in 2014, 2016 and 2018 the Senate has been a Republican majority.
If America doesn’t like how their states are being run then they can vote the other way and power will shift back. Our system isn’t perfection but it’s pretty damn good and kind of a beautiful thing to watch, even when it’s not in the favor I’d like to see it go.
None! I don’t disagree at all, it’s completely hypocritical.
But that’s politics and McConnell played the game properly. Those are the rules.
It would suck with the boot on the other foot, but I would expect nothing less from the opposite side.
So? McConnell played politics last time and won.
The Senate has to vote on the SCOTUS for a reason, and it’s to provide checks and balances. If Obama had done a better job the Senate would have been Democratic and he would have been able to push through his nominee.
But he did a poor job and the Senate was Republican....pretty sure House might have been too.
I doubt it, I don't think O'Keefe is in it for the money.
