You are being a drama queen. In no way shape or form is a moderate appointee to the supreme court replacing the farthest left justice going to lead to conservatives being executed en masse. There's a strong possibility that we were a few weeks away from Biden getting this appointment. This was a gift that fell into conservatives' laps. Take it and be happy. Haven't heard much about this woman, but if she's just a great, impartial judge who knows the Constitution and holds all laws up to it objectively, then this was an excellent choice. SCOTUS isn't supposed to have Republicans or Democrats. It's supposed to be a group of our best judicial minds dynamically agreeing and disagreeing based entirely on interpretation, partisanship be damned. Maybe some of you want to win by cheating, but I don't. Literally every judge should be a swing voter, or else they aren't using their brains.

It's not really fair to compare the number of people killed by white supremacists to the number killed by all blacks for any reason. I'm not disagreeing that the problem of violence from white supremacists is vastly exaggerated, but it would be a better comparison to look at the Charleston church shooting and Charlotesville and come up with 10 recent victims of white supremacist violence and then compare that to BLM rioting, which has killed roughly the same number.

And if I'm wrong, then the Republican doesn't deserve to win. The purpose of an election is to survey what the public wants. We should be running elections in a way that accurately captures that, and Republicans should win by being the more attractive candidate to the greater number of people. We don't design election rules around "What gets the Republican elected." We do it around fairness.
What is so complicated about ranking your choices in order and having the election counters throw out the bottom choice and recount? This isn't rocket science. A high schooler doing a civics project could figure it out.
I don't really have a problem with ranked choice voting. It allows people to vote for their preferred candidate while still capturing their practical second choice. The Libertarians always get more votes than the Greens in every presidential election. This would be a net benefit for Republicans most likely.
