I was thinking yesterday about how CRT and the entire hysterical conversation about "whiteness" has arisen something in me that I can only call a sort of defensive white supremacy. As in I was more than happy to treat everyone well and criticize actual racism when I saw it and generally not spend my time thinking about all this shit, but once I was called "evil" for my race and had it suggested that the world would somehow be better off if white people had never been here, that got me thinking "Fuck that. All we did was invent democracy, and penicillin, and computers, and smart phones, and automobiles, and damn near everything else."

Imagine a world where white people never existed. Where would the rest of the world be today? Would they have reached the industrial revolution yet? Do CTR morons honestly think Africa would have reached interstellar travel had Europe not colonized it six hundred years ago?

White people are the shit. I say this without wishing ill on any other race, but we are fucking great and have made the most contributions to technology that have benefited all races. I guess that makes me a "white supremacist," but it doesn't make me a bad person.

This is unironically true in some regards, though. People do need to be reminded of this. There are "racists" who espouse facts and understand statistical truths about different groups, but then there are also actual racists that take those facts and truths and use it to justify not even giving an individual black person an opportunity. You shouldn't hate people right out of the gate because of skin color. There are plenty of decent black Americans who just want to work, pay their taxes, raise their families, and stay out of trouble, and everyone deserves to be presumed as such until they say or do something demonstrating the contrary.

But a white guy killed a few Asian women in Atlanta, so the media finally has their "white supremacy is responsible for the wave of anti-Asian violence" image they have been clamoring for, even though 90% of Asian murders are perpetrated by blacks.

This isn't that complicated. Handguns do kill more people, but the risk they introduce to commit crimes is offset by the value they add to protect people against crimes. Cars kill more people than assault rifles or handguns, but we keep them legal because we need them. Literally the only people in the world who need AR-15s are MPs and mass shooters. Long rifles with high caliber large magazines are utterly unnecessary for defense. Their risk is not offset by any civilian value.

The point this is trying to make is that if Democrats had their way on gun control, good guys would not be able to protect themselves from bad guys with guns. This isn't true. Democrats have never proposed outlawing using guns defensively. They have only proposed banning assault rifles with large magazines, which you absolutely do not need to defend yourself from an attacker. Literally the only use for an AR-15 is a mass shooting. It is 100% an offensive weapon. That is precisely the point, and precisely why this cartoon is stupid.

Literally no one has ever proposed outlawing handguns. This is a strawman of the highest order.

This was the worst looking police force death in history, and even it turned out to be completely authorized, legitimate, and innocent once the facts came in. Last night was lit, y'all. I ventured out to a bowling alley because they have been open for a while and I finally snapped and thought "You know what? Even if I have to have a shitty, poor-man's version of a night out, I need to get out of the house and do an activity." I was expecting every other lane to be blocked off, the bar closed, and like 12 people in the alley all bowling with masks on. The place was packed with people who have had enough of this shit. There were signs up requiring people to wear masks, but maybe ten people out of the whole 80 or 90 there were doing so, and management DNGAF. The bar was crowded with people laughing, celebrating, slamming beers. The sound system was blasting dance music. And every lane was packed with people from 21-60 and every age between, enjoying themselves. Best night of the past 12 months, hands down.
