I don’t understand people’s refusal to view anarchy as a fundamentally temporary state of affairs. It’s the bottom. Order in some form will take over.

Are you claiming anarchy is some special kind of chaos that can’t be put in order if people had the will to bring g order back?

A computer taps into electricity and uses it to produce things your sense detect. Turning off the computer doesn’t make electricity go away. That computer is a puppet, and the electrons are the hand animating it.

Also, the it is not reasonable to make judgements about something you cannot currently comprehend. It’s like a caveman being presented with a solar panel, and he breaks it because it’s not edible or usable as a tool.

The living can’t judge you for your thoughts, desires, or unvoiced hatred.

I could be entirely wrong about the depth of “embodiment of sin” so any references would be welcome

Jesus “bore our sin” and was tainted, but I’m not sure I would say “he became sin”.

For your latter sentiment about how far gone we are as a nation, church, it dovetails very nicely with this sermon I heard today: https://youtu.be/gqJjF5aemj0

Well that’s understandable, but the truth is much more than that. Nothing comes from nothing, and it doesn’t vanish into nothing either.

Or, “ out of nothing, nothing comes.”

So though the big dark nothing at the end may seem like a preferable fate ( no responsibility for ones actions or thoughts) that is a false hope.

He did though. The Father willed it.

  1. You should also seek forgiveness from those you have wronged.
  2. One of “those you have wronged” is God, and you must be reconciled to Him.
  3. Reconciliation to God requires death, that’s the cost of sin.
  4. Jesus paid that price for you, saving you from being separated from God for eternity.
  5. Accepting this truth is what makes salvation available.
  6. Jesus experienced physical death, but His spirit didn’t die. However, three days later, he resurrected the physical body as well and He is alive.

“Hey Satan, those are some nice slaves you got there. Be a shame if someone... Freed them for Eternity.”

I remember when Danny Glove spent the entirety of Lethal Weapon 2 preaching about how racist SA was.
