We are not the same kind of people. We do not agree on most things. There are in fact two countries

You missed the point of the person you replied to and are clearly wrong.

The number of people who actually have radical thoughts, that they came up with themselves, through a rational process, is nearly zero.

Nearly everyone wants more or less the same thing. The problem is that half of them are brainwashed by propaganda. They can not make accurate judgements because most of what they think they know is a lie. From the day they started watching TV, their brains have been corrupted, filled with garbage information, and therefore their ability to come to useful conclusions about the world around them is severely compromised.

Given no outside influence, most people just want to be free and live life. We want what is decent and safety for our families. It is only when someone whispers lies into our ears constantly that we lose sight of this. Or when they use fear as a weapon to frighten us into fight or flight mode.

You might be surprised how many people on this site, banging the patriotic drum, were once members of the brainwashed masses themselves. But at some point, they had their red pill moment, and saw through the lies. Over time, they course corrected, and stopped consuming the propaganda. Then, they were free thinkers, and came to the logical conclusion that liberty is better than tyranny.

Having said, a lot of these brainwashed normies need some shock therapy, because all signs point to them being too far gone to be redeemable. I'll still give them a chance at redemption, but I'm also very willing and able to recognize them for a potential threat, and have no qualms about reacting appropriately.

I'll stick to testable "models" over "zero evidence at all."

Perhaps you have me confused with another poster. Actually quote me to avoid strawman arguments.

I also like testable models. But those testable models are the hard limits of science. Science has no mechanism to provide actual answers.

These answers, if they exist at all, reside on a different level of cognition than those we can review with the scientific method.

If we are going to discuss that level, we will venture in to philosophy, theology and metaphysics. All of which were the historical precursors to what we know as science, by the way.

It is called the Hard Problem for a good reason. The big questions remain unanswered for reasons related directly to this topic. Even top neurobiologist are turning around on the reductive materialist worldview.

It is actually a really interesting subject and if you can bear to have it with me, I’ll gladly take the time.

Not a smart place to be posting mug shots, fren. Sideways or otherwise.

You're delusional. You watched her murder. It wasn't a movie, it was real life.

Anyone even questioning her credentials here was attacked. I took that as a bad sign, because I wanted to know more about the concerns, but discussions about it were stifled.

Maintain accurate contact information for those in your sphere. It really is not hard, but does take effort.

There are many ways to do this, from the paper and pen method, to stand alone software, to online services. Pick the tools that work for you. Just beware that some tools are not what they seem.

Pepsi has been race pandering for decades. Horrible company.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry at your reply.

There can be no greater distinction.

Any confusion to this fact belies fundamental ignorance.

Science can not provide answers, full stop.

There are few sentiments more pertinent than this one.

When you look at your peers, and you pity them for their lack of self awareness, and for their blind faith in pop culture rhetoric, know that this very issue is what afflicts them.

They have allowed themselves to be humiliated. They have lost their nobility. They no longer have the spark of creativity and wonder that defines the human condition.

Hitting them with counter narrative facts almost never has any effect. But perhaps try hitting them with this idea. Kind of a Hail Mary attempt, but it might just work.

Trump was the only one willing to cooperate with the prosecutor in Epstein's Florida case that actually led to a conviction.

Unfortunately the sentence was merely a slap on the wrist. But law enforcement lauded Trump as instrumental in their case against Epstein.

Science produces models, not answers.

No, because the quote is fake.

She’s still dumb as a rock, though.

Alternate headline:

Low Guy On Totem Pole Takes Swing At Top Dog's Recent Gaffe

Because that is how rats behave. They'd gladly eat each other to get ahead.

I'd rather buy a $5 PDF that has all the source data that supports the claims made in the video.

The actual log files that produced the spreadsheets with IP addresses and host names. You know, the raw data. The actual evidence.

If you do not know the difference between claims, and evidence, I don't know how to help you.

More lazy than anything. Imagine the workflow. You check in, see something possibly noteworthy, get excited and pin it, without actually doing any research. Because that would take time and you're overwhelmed enough as it is.

Then you check back in later, see a bunch of comments that point out the flaws, and you unpin it, somewhat embarrassed but hey, you're in charge, so no real harm done. It will spiral into irrelevance and you move onto the next hot post.

Except the cumulative effect is quite negative and encourages the community to cater to low effort, no research drivel posts because the wow factor is rewarded.

Unfortunately this is a reflection of the larger cultural failings we are faced with. Pop garbage, short attention span, intellectually vapid.

Having said, there is a lot of amazing content here. It rarely gets the attention it should though, unfortunately.

This is a great message.

But if I upvote it, I endorse you sharing twitter links.

Upvoting it would also endorse your browsing of Twitter.

And by extension I would be endorsing Matt Walsh, who is otherwise a smart guy, continuing to post his content on Twitter.

I will never upvote a Twitter post, even if it is a screen grab.

You're not here to appease me, I understand that. But I want you to understand the seriousness of this issue and to feel at least a little bit of push back. There is a culture war raging, and there are sides. Twitter is the enemy, simply put.

Please consider being part of the solution, instead of contributing to the problem.

The gloves are a decent idea. Except they should be winter gloves.

A scarf or even a balaclava is a nice option for super cold weather too.

But definitely not a surgical mask. Are people spitting at her as she rides by? Squirting bodily fluid at her?
