I also just had the talk with my husband. I grew up in a 2a household and was around guns my whole life. My husband was not. Our state is constitutional carry and my husband was taking our hand gun somewhere in our vehicle for the first time. I had to sit him down and tell him step by step how to properly inform the police of his weapon and about keeping his hands on the wheel and before reaching ANYWHERE to state what you intend to do and ask if it is okay for you to do this.... And he's 34 years old!!
My husband has started telling people he's married to a black woman. It started out as a joke, because I found out my 6th great grandmother was a slave. Now he says it so much I'm certain there will be an instance where a co-worker will see us out in public together and assume he's cheating on his "black wife".
Same! We started watching it and then was VERY confused why they were talking about orange man bad during RNC.
We switched to another channel that said they were airing it, and it was a priest going on and on and on. Finally came here and saw that we could watch the real deal on YouTube.
I know what you mean! I've worked from home for the past 5 years so I'm not out in public much. My husband is a mail carrier so he's the complete opposite. He has balls for days when it comes to not wearing his mask. He proudly walks right past the mask required signs without flinching.
Yesterday we went to the grocery store and we were literally the only two people not wearing masks. The clerks didn't care. So we did our shopping and slowly I started seeing people who I SWEAR were wearing masks in the dairy section, maskless in frozen section. I truly think they were taking their masks off because they saw us maskless.
Right?! Because CLEARLY no sane person would commit a crime like that. Of course they have a screw loose. I've never understood people being allowed to use insanity as a defense. Either you were protecting yourself/someone else or you're insane.
It should also be noted that just because someone is listed as a first time gun buyer, it doesn't mean it's their first gun. I purchased my first in-store hand gun last weekend, and checked the box when it asked me if this was my first time buying a gun, but I already owned a shot gun and two rifles that my dad gave to me when I was younger.
My husband is a Mail Carrier but before working at USPS, he worked in non-union trucking and route delivery. The way the Union battles the management at usps is a joke. Management has their hands tied and are essentially harassed by the Union on a regular basis. The shitty employees know the union makes them untouchable, so they continue being shitty employees with no reprocussions. There is no incentive to do better so they just don't. My husband still has the work ethic and mentality he gained at his other jobs, and still uses logic when approaching his job. The management love him, the Union is always trying to get him to file grievances because of how he is "mistreated" by the management. It is baffling to us how they always try to make my husband feel like a victim, when in reality he is a responsible adult who goes to work as scheduled and does his job to the best of his ability. The Union reps are always looking for a fight with the management, they make the job 10 times harder than it actually has to be.
They typically center in the same area as this one did, about 60 miles west of Tulsa. But they started happening strong enough that we could feel them around Ten years ago.
Personally, I would much rather deal with the Tornadoes. The earthquakes always make me feel disoriented.
I can only speak to the BOK center not being at capacity as I am in Tulsa. Local news was reporting that the screeners at the gates were no longer screening people who were trying to get in. Instead, the people trying to get in were being shuffled from gate to gate not realizing that screeners were also not at the opposite gates. It sounds like once Trump arrived, the screeners stopped working. I don't understand why. Local news said they heard several reports of this exact issue.
She is red pilled, But I understand, I felt the same way at first.
I think the majority of pedes are attempting this "strategy" already (naturally) and this is why we're successful. I just found how it was explained interesting.
Also, The term Tulsa Massacre is new. To my knowledge they just started calling it that this year. It has always been called the Tulsa Race Riot.
The city tries to find mass graves every few years. But according to My grandpa, who was a teenager when the Race Riot happened, they disposed of several bodies in the Arkansas river. He told my dad about groups of people being lured into Brady theater for "safety" and then murdered and dumped in the river. I have heard these same stories from the older generations as well, but year after year the city spends money and time looking for the supposed mass graves.
It was a horrible, but even in my short life, I've seen the details of this event skewed and changed to fit the needs of the city. History, good or bad, should never be tampered with.

I love this! I also like the "smallness" of t-town. When people tell me how much Oklahoma sucks it puts a smile on my face because it's more for me to love. I always felt like Tulsa was a hidden gem that people tend to overlook and I like it that way!
Why in the world would they take a picture of Obama's kids, but put it in an article about Michelle, and not include a picture of Michelle?!?
