CS Lewis compared denominations to various rooms off one hallway...you begin and end with belief in Jesus Christ but it can be good to find a "room" where you belong. As long as you never put Him 2nd.

Washington was the greatest of leaders, but he was ONLY able to lead us to action because we had several dozen brave and rebellious men in our legislature who raised money, and trained and supplied a regular army. They also declared war on the king and forced the 2/3rds of the population who were not engaged to come along for the ride.

If Paine, Jefferson and Madison had been leading a cabal to undermine Washington and secretly meeting with our enemies Wahington would have "failed."

It was a joint action of the Jews and the gentiles...that's part of the point, isn't it, that we all are complicit and fall short.

When that show was made in the 1970s this plan had already been debated publicly for 20 years, including in Congress. That's why shows like Barney Miller portrayed it as a kooky fantasy from the lips of a nut.

Several of those states submitted competing slates of electors. They were being legally challenged by Senators and congresspeople. The constitution clearly states the vp can accept or reject.

He's going to get the nomination as a reward for his obedience, and likely be given the Presidency as well. They will want a Republican "winner" to prove its not rigged.

It was party line. There are few dems in our legislature.Things got very very bad in this state during Obama's presidency and it's one of the biggest MAGA states in the country, crooked elections notwithstanding.

It's not the "old" they are labeling as bad; good and evil are equally old. They hate the good. The good as defined in the Bible, but you could also use the Aristotelian definition.

He asks for our prayers. He has humbled himself. I say, God bless him.

Hijacking to tell you pedes to look into The Tenth Ammendment Center, a great organization that promotes nullification bills in the states - they have a great track record of helping get federal gun control and asset forfeiture nullified. Visit their website.

Look at the Johns Hopkins study done last year. No difference in rate of infection for wearers or nonwearers.

As for society, simply compare the deaths per million and rate of infection of states with strict mask rules (NY, NJ, MI, ND, CA) to states with less enforcement and compliance (SD, FL, WV, ID).
