Y’know, call me a conspiracy nut, but it almost seems to me as though the purpose of providing single mothers with five bedroom houses for $100/month is to incentivize single motherhood.
I took out expensive loans to pay for my education, picked a STEM major, studied and worked my ass off through college, and made enormous sacrifices to be where I am now: splitting a one bedroom apartment with a craigslist stranger for $900 a month. Can a brotha get some of that gubmint cheese?
I own a few guns, but I moved to Seattle a few years ago for a job, and since then I’ve had to live with room mates to afford rent in this overaggressively zoned shithole. I don’t want to have guns in an apartment where I can’t control who comes and goes, who might have a key, etc.
I left all of my guns at my dad’s house when I moved here. Now, with the election coming up, and faced with the knowledge that a Trump victory will certainly mean riots, I’m debating whether I want to bring my guns to my apartment, or take a week off of work around Election Day and just get away from cities. I’m leaning towards just bringing my guns here, since there’s no way of knowing how long it could take to count all of the votes.

The generation of kids who grew up with helicopter parents, participation trophies, and constant assurance that they’re important and special are out of college and in the workforce now, and it’s hitting large companies like a ton of bricks. The higher ups at these companies don’t believe in all the woke marxist horseshit that these brats are obsessed with, but they don’t want to risk being branded as bigots for standing against them. Much safer to ride it out for a few more years without causing controversy, get a fat retirement package, and let it be somebody else’s problem while they sip cocktails on a beach.
Somebody in the corporate world is going to have to be the first to stick their neck out and tell these fuckers to get bent. I hope to god that Spotify grows a pair. These kids need to learn the lessons that their parents should have taught them: being mad doesn’t make you right, being easily offended isn’t a virtue, nobody gives a shit if your feelings are hurt, and people won’t want to work with you if you’re an insufferable cunt.

In total honesty, I wouldn’t have stopped watching if the NFL had just taken the position right away that it wouldn’t stop players from kneeling during the anthem. I can honestly understand that as a business decision, if players don’t want to stand then let them throw their pre-game tantrums and don’t make a big deal about it. Honestly, I think people would have gotten bored of the whole thing and stopped paying attention by now.
But no, the gigantic shitweasels decided that they had to shove this shit front and center, and give the players a megaphone to blast their opinions at the viewers. I mean for fucks sake, I’m not watching the NFL to hear someone with a 3rd grade education and a sub 90 IQ tell me what to think of world events. The absolute final straw was having two separate national anthems. What a retard clownfuck of an idea.
