Honestly couldn’t happen to a nicer city. Atlanta in particular bent over backwards to sell out our country through voter fraud and election rigging. I think this is wonderful karma
They are also pushing hard now for pregnant women to get it. I’m in a pregnancy FB group for my due date month and there has been a big flood of posts in recent weeks bragging about how they took the vaccine and everyone who doesn’t is an anti-vaxxer, when just a few months ago the group consensus seemed to be that it wasn’t safe for pregnant woman and most people were going to hold off. It will be a cold day in hell before I allow me and my unborn baby to be lab rats for an experimental and unregulated vaccine. Fuck that.
Civilians having guns in case of a battle against a tyrannical government is literally the entire purpose of the 2A. Goddamn these people are fucking dumb, evil, or both
It’s weird. I was once a 13 year-old and 15 year-old girl. I never carjacked or killed anyone because I was bored and just looking for fun.
I followed his story closely and his mom was very public on FB about raising money and selling possessions to bail him out, but I’m sure there was help from either the news station or Antifa
My hometown is the same way. They have pretty much ignored the entire Covid thing since the beginning and strangely enough, everyone is still alive and well. Even last summer during tourist season, the bars were absolutely packed with people and somehow everyone survived.
Even with all of its flaws, Houston is still by far my favorite city in Texas. Other cities are probably more fun to visit, but I would choose Houston over any others to live hands down. It’s a quirky city but it really does have a lot to offer.
Love this! I’ve never felt more womanly than I do now that I am pregnant with my first baby. It’s incredible seeing what my body is capable of doing in just a short 9 months. I imagine I will feel even more of a woman once I am finally a mother
Not according to my dumb ass pregnancy group who expects us to pretend that there are pregnant “men” in our group, when in reality they are just biological women who are pretending to be men.
Unless they voted for the leaders that pushed this false narrative or spread the false narrative themselves. Only those who spoke the truth about the case from the beginning should be allowed to leave
I agree that nothing seems to make sense about what is currently going on, but I’ve also officially run out of any kind of hope that there is any kind of plan.
According to Xiden, her name is actually Shirley Jackson Lee now
Sweet 80’s prom dress, Doc. That dress is hideous for any age, but especially ridiculous on an elderly woman
Exactly how I feel. Wish I could say I felt sorry for them but this is what they get for protecting an illegitimate dictator instead of doing their duty to protect the American people
Fuck Mike Pence. He can go slither back into the swampy hole he came from. Traitorous piece of shit
This!! I voted for Ted twice. I’m not thrilled with his recent comments calling Capitol rioters terrorists and dismissing election fraud, but I still mostly like the dude. However, this definitely pissed me off. I’m definitely not calling for his resignation or anything like that, but the bottom line is that it was poor judgement while his own constituents were literally freezing to death.
Thank you! I’ve been crucified in other comments for saying the same thing. I’m a Texan and we’ve been through hell this week. What he did definitely rubbed a lot of us Conservative Texans the wrong way as well after all we’ve been through. It was just poor timing and bad judgement. I definitely don’t think he needs to resign or anything, but I still think he made a bonehead decision.
Thank you! I’m most definitely not the Left and I’m pretty annoyed at what he did as a Texan. Do I think he should resign? No, definitely not. But it was poor judgement on his part.
I have zero doubt that this entire disaster was a contrived act of political revenge from Biden and the CCP. There was literally no reason that this should have happened. Texans would have been fine if they just would have kept our fucking power on.
I don't blame Ted for what happened. It wasn't his fault that this happened, but it was very bad taste and out-of-touch what he did in the midst of the crisis. I expect that kind of thing from a Democrat, but it was disappointing that he of all people chose to jump ship while his fellow residents were suffering. Once again, unless you are a Texan and went through this hell week, it's really hard to tell us how we should feel. Also, buy a generator is easier said than done when generators were sold out far in advance and gas stations were either sold out or unable to sell due to power outages. My small town has like 6 gas stations within a mile radius, and all were sold out by Monday or early Tuesday. Have some compassion.
Generators were sold out long in advance, and those who had them still had to contend with gas shortages and mile-long lines. My little town has like 6 gas stations within a mile radius, and most of them were sold out of gas by Monday or Tuesday, and the ones that weren't sold out couldn't operate because of lack of power. Most people were prepared to lose power for a period of time, but most did not anticipate losing power for 60+ hours straight. That is unprecedented.
And if you aren't a Texan, please don't dare try to minimize what just happened to us. I grew up near the Canadian border and I'm no stranger to cold winter weather. I've NEVER experienced anything like this. They cut our power and left us to freeze. Never in my 20+ years of living up north did we lose power in the winter for more than a few hours to a day max, and if we did, it was because the power lines were knocked down by trees. Nobody ever intentionally cut off our power for days on end in the midst of record low temperatures. This was a man-made disaster that could and should have been avoided. I'm sorry for ranting, but I'm sick of seeing fellow Conservatives on here minimize everything that just happened to Texans this week.
This whole thing in Texas is absolutely infuriating. On top of being left in the freezing cold for days with no access to any kind of supplies, many of us are now facing $20k+ repair bills for busted water pipes and damage that could have easily been avoided if they had just KEPT OUR FUCKING POWER ON. I've never been so angry or disappointed with my state. They really just left us on our own to freeze and starve. I don't care if it's Republican heads or Democrat heads, but heads need to roll after all of this for anyone who had any kind of responsibility how this all played out. The only aid or comfort that any of us received during this time was from our neighbors and community members. We were failed by every single level of government, from the city to the federal level.
I have never had a pleasant experience flying Delta or United. Worst airlines ever.
